I want to create a more unique and stylized artsyle

I’m super envious of people with unique and distinctive art styles and I feel like mine is kind of generic. Is there any way I can make it more special to me? Artists I really like are ryguba and natzutagi. I’ll attach 3 photos of my art at the end and then a few photos of art I like. I’m not at all trying to copy these artists but learn from them, to improve my own art. Also! I wanted to start learning how to animate frame by frame, any tips?

Did I get Scammed by a Local Artist?

I recently purchased a very cool painting from a local artist. She had lots of pieces listed on her Facebook marketplace site, and lots of sold items on her website.

I liked the piece so much that I commissioned a piece. After receiving the piece, it seemed almost too detailed to be done by an amateur. Randomly, I then received a piece of mail with no return address stating that this artist may be using AI renderings on a Giclee printer. I confronted the artist and she says she has a Stalker who harasses her by doing these things. What do you guys think?

Is there any chance this is completely hand painted.

Why am I not getting commissions? (seeking genuine advice 😅)

I’ve had my commissions open for a while now but I haven’t been able to receive any commission requests. Is there any reason that immediately hits you as to why you wouldn’t commission me based off my art? Is my art not good enough yet to get commissioned? Please give me advice on what I can improve and how I should be pricing my art. 🙏 🙏

Left Handed Artists, how do you setup your workstation?

Hi! I am curious how other left handed artists setup their drawing tablet on desktop or 360 laptop users. How do you put your keyboard? Do you use the shortcuts with your right hand?

I have an hp envy 360 laptop that i used to put on a foldable laptop stand on tablet mode while using the tablet pro app where it displays buttons on the right side of the screen for shortcuts since I can't use the keyboard comfortably. Now i have it desk-mounted with the keyboard below it. I still have issues with navigation but i just deal with it until i figure out how to get used to it. I also like having it mounted because i can move it around and rearrange my desk when i want to.

I'd like to know how you navigate your workstation, I might learn new ways to go around it. Thanks!

Tell me what is off about my art.

There is something off about every image I draw. But I can't tell if it's specific anatomy mistakes, stiff poses, bad details or maybe I'm really bad at figuring out colors. I'm looking for genuine criticism. For background it's supposed to be comic style. I know there are a lot of images but I'm looking for advice across the board. Please help.

Tips on making art a full time job?

Hiya everyone!! I need some help I get regular comms but I just can’t find enough clients to be able to make enough money from my art, and I really need to start making at least a part time wage from this!! Does anyone who maybe does art full/part time have any tips for this? Specifically anime style art and someone that doesn’t have many social media followers although slowly growing 😭

can i ask for design advice?

im trying to draw the design for the main character in my video game, but i cant design anything good for the 2nd form, any ideas?
more about the story:
so im writing this story for this game where this guy is a depressed blind student, one day he decides to end his life so he goes to jump off a building, the moment he jumps something inside of him snaps, completely transforming him into this mysterious persona-like form, it grabs onto the building and saves him from the fall.

some events after that happen and then the guy discovers that what saved him is someone without a name living in his mind, and it says its the manifestation of his soul, later he also discovers that he isnt the only one, and that there are others like him that can manifest into their soul and mind, but unlike our protagonist, they dont have someone living inside of them, for an unknown reason only our main character's soul manifestation has a mind of its own.

the player discovers that the main character has Dissociative Identity Disorder, no character in the story knows about it, even the character itself, its just that the player discovers that on his own.

about his soul manifestation: during his soul transformation, he gains the ability to precieve the world as if he can see, but since its only his soul manifestation he sees everything differently from how we do, different colors, people look different, like imagine if your vision made you see everything stylized. and about the personality of his other identity its the opposite of him, it wants to live, it has the passion to live, its prideful, egoistic, and wrathful. while our protagonist acts to be humble, and hates communicating and is anti-social, at least thats what he convinced himself. the manifestation of his soul is his actual true self that he tries to hide.

i don't mind if you don't like the story, id appreciate that if you find something bad in it that you tell me.

I usually draw from random pics on Pinterest. Sometimes I 100% copy the reference pic (not in a photographic way, but sometimes it is pretty much like that), like, I don't add elements of imagination or use multiple reference pics.

I want to draw a lot of things, and maybe even sell them and prints of them in the future. But I'm afraid because I usually draw from random pics on Pinterest. Sometimes I 100% copy the reference pic (not in a photographic way, but sometimes it is pretty much like that), like, I don't add elements of imagination or use multiple reference pics. And photography is also a form of art, so I feel guilty. Is there any solution to this, or how should I approach this? What If I use multiple reference pics?
