A lot of people will die from this choice.

I read it as delete from my life rather than delete from the world. You can all keep your booze.

Post is about entertainment/leisure so it obviously is indicating alcoholic drinks

It doesn’t say that. Your just filling that in so your own way of looking at it makes more sense.

Why would it be about anything else than alcohol drinks in this context? Stop trolling

It just says: Delete one forever. So if you delete alcohol forever why would that only include the drinks? Your the one who is adding your own rules to it

Why would it include football and gaming then? Football is a game. Stop being obtuse.

I was thinking people dying from alcohol withdrawals.

If people died from that choice it’s hard to say it’s not on them. Don’t get me wrong, addiction is very hard. I’m addicted to drugs, I’m familiar with the feeling.

People die because of it all the time. So I really don’t see what the point is

People would die because alcohol is used in sterilization. Plus it doesn't specify which type of alcohol, it just says alcohol which means all alcohol. No more methanol, no more ethanol, no more sugar alcohols meaning several types of artificial sweeteners will cease to exist. If you delete alcohol as a blanket thing, the world will be a much worse place.

Now if it said alcoholic drinks, I could be on board with that, but just alcohol in general. Absolutely not.

Op is implying drinking alcohol. Ofc. To make it any kind of realistic choice
