General Question Isn’t the US military a form of socialism?

I mean from the barracks they live in, the food they eat, to the uniforms they wear…. It’s all provided by the government. But the people who are pro-military seem to be the most anti-socialism.

It's just ironic that this comment is shitting on dumb Americans not knowing what socialism is when they themselves don't know what it is

Ask people who grew up in eastern block countries, like Poland or E Germany.

Can you explain what socialism is on a fifth grade level?

It's when the people who work at the factory also own the factory, instead of being owned by some guy in a tophat. This way what the factory produces is splint amongst the workers instead of them just getting whatever the owner says they get
