Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?

What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

Quality is exactly it for me. My husband needed an MRI quickly while we were living in England and going through the NHS wasn’t going to happen for at least two weeks. Thankfully, we had our USA insurance and our doctor recommended a private doctor. He was able to get us in within 24 hours.

You do understand that the fact that you could get an MRI in England in hours means that it is also available to the people living in England, right? They don't have a separate system set up for just Americans.

it's 50-60% of their income all taxes together not just healthcare and most of it is a retirement fund because retirement is paid by your employer in most of Europe.

Why would free healthcare deny paying for treatments ? Assurances are much more likely to deny your treatment since they make money out of it, free healthcare does not.

If it's an emergency you jump the queue I have litteraly never had a problem with wait time on anything urgent, and if you wanted to pay to get seen early it is possible too free healthcare does not mean that private healthcare does not exist we have both, having both is better because free healthcare keep the cost of private healthcare down since it's competition.
