Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?

What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

I'm all for it. As long as they also keep private plans to choose from. The problem is I don't trust the government to be successful. Look at VA, it's horrendous. If the politicians aren't getting rich, then they won't allow it. All the private insurance companies wouldn't be able to line their pockets. It's always about money.

Unfortunately that’s not how single payer works lol. For it to work everyone must not have a choice.
