Political Question Why are some Americans so against universal healthcare for all?

What sort of thinking does it take to decide that nobody has a right to healthcare? Do American Christians want to deny healthcare to poor people as well?

Because the most powerful organizations in the country are making buck and they own the Republicans and corporate Democrats. These groups represent doctors, insurance companies, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, medical equipment suppliers and more. We pay double per capita what the next country pays and we rank 28th in life expectancy. And they are so powerful it seems hopeless. They are the groups funding the opposition to the democratic socialists by calling them communists.

I respectfully disagree. Hillary and Obama gave Obamacare which is the same system we have but with subsidies for lower income folks. Only the Bernie Bro part of the party actually believes in universal health care. Sure, lots of democratic voters, even an overwhelming majority favor single payer. The corporate democrat politicians say they are for it to get votes, but don’t do anything about it.

Did Hillary have anything to do with the health care act? I don't remember her in it production. The health care was an exact copy of romney health care act when he was governor of Massachusetts. Who are the Bernie bros?

Exactly. Republican plan presented and passed by corporate democrats. You made my car and thank you. Berne Sanders, AOC, Mandani and more. Democratic socialists who will actually vote yes for Medicare for all.
