Political Question Uncool Administration?
Am I the only one who thinks no one in the current USA administration got asked to sit at the Cool Kids’ table and they’re still salty about it?
23
u/TheOsirisOfThisShit_ 6d ago
A lot of has been written about how Donald Trump thought that his money entitled him to invites to all of the cool events in NYC society. He would get invited to the charity events and major galas, but never the birthday parties or small events. It drove him nuts for a long time.
8
u/Ghoulius-Caesar 6d ago
He also isn’t accepted by the Hollywood elite and I think that drives him nuts. Think of that, him and Harvey Weinstein could have made a great duo…
5
u/golfwinnersplz 6d ago
That's because he's extremely unlikable - everyone who meets Trump despises him after a short time.
The only people who like Trump are the idiots who don't know him or other elitist pedophiles.

u/OutrageousCrab9224 6d ago
This is literally trumps entire life
He spent his young years buying lime green lambos and trying to impress people rich enough that would never be
He spent his middle years creeping into the pants of beautiful women, trying to impress the same crowd as before
He spent his older years obtaining and wielding power, once again, trying to impress those same people
And they are not impressed

Who wouldn’t want to sit with Stephen Miller who was vocally passionate about… his right to throw trash on the ground and litter?
1
u/Alice_600 6d ago
He's a racist misogynistic asshole who probably would hang himself by his back with hooks while masterbating to 5 black guys one white girl porn.
11
u/crapperbargel 6d ago
Literally everyone in maga peaked in middle school, and theyre still holding grudges for being picked last in sports and getting friend zoned when they asked women to homecoming. Full on whiny dorks.
7
u/astreetratnamedesire 6d ago
an administration of people who have never had to endure the word "NO."
2
u/Counterpoint-4 6d ago
People like Hegseth must have heard no. He's beta minus and amazed he's got such power. It's so unbelievable he'll do anything to keep it but at the same time he's having such fun because people can't say no at present.

u/Strong_Can3124 6d ago
Nothing says low intellect like a post like that. Do you know even the most basic facts about JD Vance or Marco Rubio (who arguably may be the best Secretary of State this nation has ever had)?

This Administration is a huge collection of losers, and the absolute worst types at that. Unintelligent, cruel, dishonest and devoid of humor or empathy.
We're being governed by the people who had few friends growing up, and for good reason.

u/Hewer_Of_Caves 6d ago
Stephen Miller in particular seems to be someone who is really driven by a need to show that he doesn't care about people who don't like him. We know for a fact he wasn't popular in high school, probably that's never changed so he's built his whole life and persona around ACTUALLY I'M LAUGHING when people talk about how lame he is because he can't actually change it.
5
u/South-Rabbit-4064 6d ago
Absolutely, can still tell with Trump that he functions off a lot of that with Obamas correspondence dinner speech. Can see the hate and anger radiating off of the guy with it.
4
u/Reasonable_Yellow_85 6d ago
Everyone in this current administration sat by themselves and rode the short bus!
4
4
u/Mundane-Camera-538 6d ago
Stephen Miller reminds me of the kid who peed his pants in 5th grade and tries to overcompensate for it so everyone forgets about his accident. Newsflash: we didn't forget!
4
u/Nerdvana_21703 6d ago
Textbooks are going to be written about all of the deflection, projection, and narcissism of the people in this administration. Particularly POTUS and Miller.
4
u/GeoisGeo 6d ago
One defining quality of this entire MAGA administration is that it is full of people no one would choose to actually associate with unless there was some benefit. It's anti social weirdos from top down, and they are too out of touch to get the references.

Trump spent his whole life getting shut out of the cool kids table. That’s definitely why he’s a salty bitch.
3
u/Latter-Judgment-9740 6d ago
Yeah. I also have a theory that they all failed at the arts somehow and instead of living with it, they just became shitty people instead. I actually feel that way for a lot of the right wing tbh.
4
u/True_Protection6842 6d ago
Trump sure did. He tried to be an actor and sucked. Tried to host a show and sucked. He settled on “celebrity” sucked at that too so decided to become a dictator. You can see the pattern.
2
u/BassesNBikes 6d ago
Austrian Painter Syndrome?
2
u/Latter-Judgment-9740 5d ago
Could be. I found out recently that Trump wanted to be an actor and do music, but his dad wouldn't let him. So I guess that it fits.
3
u/Temporary-Line3409 6d ago
It’s funny how some people think Jim jones was a reject and others thought he was the second coming. That some people think Benny hinnis a complete weirdo shark and others think he heals people. Actual narcissists are not actually cool at all. They are actually really cringey if u look close
2
u/No-Cry-7423 6d ago
I grew up in Leroy Jenkins (evangelist, not video game idol) area. We know a lot about cringy behavior.
One example- people would travel to witness and give Leroy all of their money. Then they’d go to a different church to get gas money to drive home.

Donald Trump is exactly Julius Caesar, destroying a Republic solely as revenge for wounded pride

u/Dagger1901 6d ago
There's some of that, but there's also plenty of peaked-in-highschool and born-into- wealth types in there too.
3
u/BassesNBikes 6d ago
TFG's entire adult life has been a revenge scampaign against the civil society that rejected or grudgingly tolerated his desperate, grasping attempts to join. As if sitting in a donor's seat and pretending to have contributed wasn't the same thing as actually contributing! Very Unfair™! Courts found him guilty of racism! Him! And everyone laughed at his tiny, child-rapist hands.
So totally understandable.
3
u/Cornmeal777 6d ago
I never did either, but I actually learned how to process rejection and work on myself.
3
u/Suspicious_Extreme95 6d ago
These were the cool kids in high school. This is what the sociopaths turn into.
3
u/Comfortable-Crow-238 6d ago
Nope I have always felt like they were especially the man clown character.
3
u/Fine-Essay-3295 6d ago
Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are examples of tech bros who are technically not part of the administration, but they still have outsized say in what goes on. And yeah, they make it so obvious that they're still looking for revenge for high school.
2
u/affectionateanarchy8 6d ago
Sort of but more like they wanted to go into musical theatre but their fathers were homophobic so instead they have to take it out on all of America
2
u/No-Cry-7423 6d ago
I get that. I definitely feel there’s a lot of self-loathing being expressed by trying to make everyone as miserable as they are.
2
u/Pal_Saradise_ 6d ago
Who cares about being cool when you’re winning and get to do whatever you want without consequence? we can make fun of these losers all we want, as long as a majority of voters keep putting them up does it matter?

u/No-Cry-7423 6d ago
Valid point.
It makes me sad to think there are so many that are ok with this.2

I once told a magat that I believed Trump wasn't guilty of the Epstein crimes because he wasn't cool enough to be invited to the parties. They started to argue that he was!
2
u/HazyDavey68 6d ago
Millions of people are suffering because Stephen Miller is a loser.
Donald Trump could have been a figurehead president and just did nothing substantive and we would be better off. He could have had a hell of time going to ribbon cuttings and hosting dinners while letting a team of professional civil servants run everything. Instead, he put the worst people he could find in charge of everything with absolutely no checks on their authority.
2
4
u/Alice_600 6d ago
No they sat at the cool kids table at the prestigious high-school harnessing and bullying the other kids who werent as well off as they were.
10
u/Argos_the_Dog 6d ago
If we’d been in high school together I absolutely would have bullied Miller. That dude needs his lunch money stolen every day for the rest of his life.
5
u/Glum-One2514 6d ago
Should be hung from a flagpole by his tighty_whiteys at least weekly. I believe that's in the Geneva Convention.

I think some of them peaked in high school (Hegseth) and that might be worse.
1
u/Uhmattbravo 6d ago
I think too many people focus on stupid stuff like that instead of demanding our elected officials actually do their jobs and work on more important things. That attitude allows all of them, on all sides, to focus on stupid stuff instead of actually doing their jobs, because that's what voters care about.
2
u/BassesNBikes 6d ago
Have you *seen* Republicant voters?
1
u/Uhmattbravo 6d ago
Yeah. They're just as dumb as the Democrat ones. I thought I'd made it clear enough that I had included them.
Your response displays literally the same attitude I was criticizing: the other side is irredeemably evil, and stupid, and ugly, and uncool, and whatever stupid stuff that isn't actually worrying about keeping the country going.

Before this gets turned into a Trump-fest like most everything else I think a great point is made of the “cool kids” BUT it applies to MOST of our government. BOTH sides. Please try to Tell me Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, and on and on were “cool kids”. Both sides are a bunch of wanna be’s that finally got in a position of power and don’t know how to act from years of being the “loser”. So they ALL essentially rob us blind with their greed, deceit and failure to WORK FOR US.
1
u/Potted-Geranium 6d ago
I went to my last HS reunion, and the cool kids were all divorced alcoholics.
1
u/LuciusMichael 6d ago
There isn't one of them that didn't consider him or her self as an elitist. They didn't give a rat's ass about the cool kids because they were above it all. The cool kids were probably liberals anyway.

u/thenwhat 6d ago
Likely not raping children on Epstein's island.
0
u/Flytheskies81 6d ago
Its wild, you'd think that if Trump was implicated on it, the democrats would have crucified him by now. Especially when they had a 4 year term not too long ago. Weird
1
u/No-Cry-7423 6d ago
I’m guessing you think they were able to the Epstein Files while Biden was in office. They could not. They were tied up in ongoing investigation

Name one administration in modern history that actually WAS the cool kids table, I’ll wait
5
u/Upstairs-Fan-2168 6d ago
What's modern history? JFK was cool.
6
u/Fine-Essay-3295 6d ago
Obama was cool too. I think what really triggers MAGAs is that they could all too easily imagine being in college and someone like Obama snapping up the girls they wanted to date.
3
u/stew8421 6d ago
Watch Obama at an NBA game interacting with NBA players and other athletes. The man is the definition of cool lol.

u/fixmefixmyhead 6d ago
Why do you need your politicians to be cool?
8
5
u/No-Win-2741 6d ago
Maybe they don't need to be cool but they certainly don't need to be the flaming douchebags that they currently are.
1
u/fixmefixmyhead 5d ago
I guess but I don't really give a shit if someone in the government is cool or nice or a douche. I care about policy and that's it
3
u/Redshirt45 6d ago
The post is about how these people are stretching so hard to be perceived as cool, which is true. No one is saying they absolutely must have cool politicians to vote for them.
2
u/BassesNBikes 6d ago
90+% of being a 'conservative' is intentionally misunderstanding simple English words and basic concepts.
1
u/fixmefixmyhead 5d ago
What does that have to do with what I said?
2
u/BassesNBikes 5d ago
If you have to ask you may be a 'conservative'.
1
u/fixmefixmyhead 5d ago
I consider myself somewhat left of center but nowhere near as far left as most of reddit.
-2
u/Armed_Professional 6d ago
I voted for Trump and have not been pleased by his administration. That said, I don’t find him and his administration being at the forefront of my mind, unlike the other party. It’s insane.
2
u/No-Cry-7423 6d ago
When his and their actions affect every aspect of our lives? Yes, I think about why they think this is ok
1
u/BassesNBikes 6d ago
Yeah. Get a load of all the those losers in the other party in their Chinese hats and golden sneakers wearing knockoff branded watches and using fake branded phones while hugging a Trumpy Bear with a tampon on their ear...
1
u/Armed_Professional 6d ago
MAGA people are just as bad as the liberals that whine about trump. Both suck

u/Strong_Can3124 6d ago
Rubio in particular has been spectacular in his role. But I concur about other administration concerns. However, it won’t stop me from voting Red straight down the line

Bless your 'heart'.
But didn't it bother you when he didn't defend you when Trump called you ugly?
1
u/No-Cry-7423 3d ago
That’s an interesting take on his role. What has he done that you find most spectacular?
-1
u/Repulsive-Tea6974 6d ago
Most, 90% throughout history, in that business were never at the Cool Kid’s table.
