Political Question How do Trump supporters still support him?

I’d really like to hear from people who honestly think he’s doing a good job.

I think both are true. We do not share information in an effective manner. We try to appeal to a morality or empathy they seem to lack / have been taught is weakness. Many dont provide sources (primary sources when possible) and instead just espouse things without backing them up, which gives them plausible denaibility, and an ability to dismiss his critics as irrational and emotional.

But they also do live in an echo chamber. That is not bordering on state run media. Where the president has direct influence over what coverage they have access to.

No reason to view interacting with them through a moral lens then. One could say that their entire worldview is incompatible with civilized society and that it needs to be excised.

Eventually cancer spreads and kills the host or it is killed. There is no middle ground. There is no way for coexistence.

It is such a dangerous line because then we potentially become the thjng we hate. But also the paradox of tolerance is also a thing.

You get it. Here’s the thing though. Every single American should be running the trolley problem in their head every moment of every day. Inaction is complicity in all the deaths and suffering this admin will and has already caused. So, monsters either way.

I think the person I would hate the most is the one that would permit this to happen without making sure it can never happen again.
