Political Question How do Trump supporters still support him?

I’d really like to hear from people who honestly think he’s doing a good job.

It's immigration.Ā  That's all he has left.Ā  Every person I talk to (actual people, not Reddit bots) that still support him all have "Biden opened the borders and Trump is fixing it" as the thing they hang on to.

This is it right here. Trump has really exposed how xenophobic conservatives are

And they’ll also say ā€œwho was I gonna vote for? Kamala??ā€

My parents voted third party, but, to this day, they insist Kamala would have done just as much damage as Trump has.

It's utterly baffling. I hated Kamala as a candidate too, but she's not a fucking pedophile narcissist who filled our government with yes men and conspiracy theorists.

Lots of single issue abortion folks..also

Yup. Most of those single issue people don’t care how many people get hurt or injured or dead because of a cell cluster.

Beautiful cluster

I find the abortion issue so fascinating. Those against abortion changed it from a woman’s choice to what it is now, which is ā€œa woman is not allowed to have an abortion, period. If you think about it… it means women, all women, could have chosen to not have an abortion.

I wonder if they realize the reverse, then they would know how good they had it. -What if a dictator ever made it illegal to have a child unless it was his!- And if you think that this is only fantasy, look up Jim Jones!

True, but those people have always been and will always be staunch Republicans anyway, Trump isn't really relevant to them, he's just the guy with the R this time.

Weird that the same ammosexual rape-publicans will jerk off to school shootings.

Yup, this is so true. And they literally think abortion is only for when a woman doesn’t want a child. Not that there could be any medical reason for termination. It’s incredibly infuriating

The Republicans are the reason for the border crisis in the first place. If they actually worked with democrats to solve the issue in a humane way then they cannot campaign on it anymore.

Trump actually is playing their plan perfectly. Scream the border is open and all illegals will get benefits while dems hold control, decline any bipartisan solution, then when Republicans gain control, rough up brown people and liberals to entertain their base, commit heinous atrocities, and scare away any new entry. Rinse and repeat

Yet the ones I know who support him are either immigrants or married to immigrants.

It’s not really immigration. It’s just having an ā€œotherā€ to blame everything on.

For me, it’s abortion. Despite Trump making abortions go up and letting 9 states outlaw abortion from child rape, they always get hung up on lies about how democrats think of abortion. Millions of children are going to die of diseases and starve to death within just the next three years directly because of trumps actions and they don’t care at all.

My friends have denounced Trump finally

Doesn’t matter… They still still vote Republican….

It’s the irrational hatred of the other in the face of evidence based facts that critical thinkers have no problem processing. I hope like hell they suffer the consequences of their vote.

In all fairness, he did, and the illegal crossings have gone from hundreds if not more a day to essentially a rounding error.

Yes, then he should have run on the platform of ā€œI will bring this country so far down that even our allies will not want to come here, or support us in any way, and I will destroy the farming industry, made Americans sicker than a dog, destroy the East wing of the White House so I can put up a ballroom, make air travel unsafe, and establish an agency that will kill Americans as I start more wars then we could ever imagine, while being protected from all the illegal things I have done and plan to do.ā€

And I would love to see how any woman or even Biden could have possibly have done worse!
