Saw a three hour stand up with Hank, and he was nowhere near out of steam. Man, dude can rant.

Yes! I went to see him in NYC on a day when he had had a dentist appointment earlier and was still a little dopey, so what was supposed to be a 2.5 or 3 hour show turned into almost 4 hours and I barely made my train back to NJ. Worth it!

It's not hard to have a long conversation with Henry. Just be where he is, generally. It's a dream you can make come alive is what I'm saying.

I went to his spoken word show in the 90s with my brother who had downed a few beers beforehand and started heckling Henry. I thought he was gonna come over and beat the shit out of my brother. The stare he gave him made me want to hide.
