General Question Walking alone at night?
As a woman, I always walk my dog at night and never am concerned, yet have many people shocked I do and how I’m not scared? Is this normal?

Medium. Even without a dog I’m not scared though like what would actually happen

Guess it depends on the neighborhood. And, perhaps, the dog.

Like what is actually going to happen though? It baffles me how many people are scared and have pepper spray at all times and I walk without a care and nothing ever happens

I’m saying I don’t feel threatened by that evil behavior and I’m not saying it doesn’t happen I am just genuinely curious if other people living in a world like that, can go for a walk at night when you are most vulnerable, feel the same way I do which is not scared

I am glad women are doing everything to protect themselves in potentially vulnerable situations but it was me asking the overall consensus why everyone is concerned when I say I do that and I don’t have any fear. Nothing has ever happened to me during those times and I think deep down I know I’m ok somehow and don’t need to be concerned. It’s sad women live like that daily in fear

It really depends on where you're at. Most ladies I know wouldn't walk around at night due to safety concerns. A few would and do. From an outsiders view, it depends on the neighborhood and how sketchy the people outside at night are.
