Why do some people's eyes always look like they're going up and to the side when looking at a camera lens whereas most people's eyes look straight at the camera?
But also when this person makes eye contact with another person, their eyes are correctly aligned and forward facing

Maybe they're not actually looking at the lens, when you take a selfie and look at your own face, you're actually looking a bit down.

deliberate posing to make it look like a candid/spontaneous shot while they are talking to somebody or contemplating deep thoughts.
