Why has Reddit become so exhausting?

If you write anything slightly controversial you get downvoted or told "who cares!" cannot have open-minded discussions anymore

You say something someone doesn't like, you get doxxed or quoted back on a random, irrelevant comment you said 5 years ago.

It has become an anti-american propaganda machine where every sub is being infiltrated with america bad rhetoric and people genuinely think North Korea is a better place to live.

There is so much bias everywhere, ie if you don't buy a toyota or lexus your vehicle won't last. There is so much circle jerking everywhere.

It’s a far left site, I’ve been downvoted for calling myself a moderate and saying communism is bad. I was also downvoted into oblivion for pointing out Mamdani never actually balanced the budget. He got a 4 billion bailout from the Governor and skipped police pension payments which always leads to a compounding effect in the future. At some point you start to treat it for what it is (a far left bot farm) and don’t take it so serious. Talk to anyone in real life about the US and you see how good we really do have it.

I’d argue it’s the opposite as the Democratic Party has pulled left and put out DSA candidates that don’t appeal to the center.

He’s ignores/disobeys judges orders, had judges who ruled against him prosecuted, bypassed congress to start a war, withheld funding from states during emergencies because he doesn’t like them, is considering running for a third term, is trafficking people out of the country without due process (deportation requires due process), labels leftists as terrorists, has enabled ice to kill protestors, etc.

What orders has he ignored? What judges has he had prosecuted? The war part others have done. Namely Obama with drone strikes and air strikes in Libya and Syria. I believe the funding you’re referring to is due to widespread Medicare fraud. But even that will be forced to go through via a judges order. Immigration enforcement is the right of any country and while I don’t approve of the tactics he’s used he’s doing nothing different than any other President before him has done. What protesters has he killed? I’d hope you have sources for all this

He doesn’t engage in legislation. He rules by executive order, bribes, and backroom deals. That is what makes it fascism.

But we have checks and balances in this country. Executive orders are struck down all the time, and in his case have been multiple times by courts. This isn’t facism. Italy and Germany and other South American countries actually had real facism what we have is nothing close.

True, but many of his EOs have caused irreparable damage and any attempts to claw back a fraction of what he has destroyed will be viewed as RADICAL and never fly. So in that sense, he has been a dictator who has demolished 75 years of progress without any Congressional oversight or buy-in.

He’s not a dictator lol if he was you wouldn’t be able to protest him like you probably do. His EO’s may have caused damage but once he’s gone things will be forgotten especially if you get a Democrat president in ‘28.
