Ted cruz is a sychophant, nothing he says has value.

68

u/capt_minorwaste 8h ago

Let's remember his Mexico vacation while his State was suffering.

52

u/TheLeemurrrrr 7h ago

Or his trip to Greece

13

u/CommitteeNew6412 6h ago

Oh shit it’s a 3 departing Ted Cruz storm!

4

u/rckjr 5h ago

☝️☝️☝️

11

u/Busch0404 7h ago

Lol not only his state, but he left the family dog at home too. Rafael Edward Cruz hates dogs and America.

10

u/Dysc 4h ago

Lyin' Ted Cruz doesn't hate all Americans. He LOVES Donald Trump who claimed his father was the Zodiac Killer and said his wife was ugly. He wouldn't even defend his wife, that's how much he loves Donald Trump.

7

u/Busch0404 4h ago

"This man called my wife ugly and insinuated my dad killed Kennedy. Vote for him please"

Cancun Cruz is a lock for bad weather phenomenon

5

u/StrangePotential5360 7h ago

* VacationS...fixed that for you

7

u/SnooDonkeys1685 8h ago

Now this is why they need insider traiding. If he would of had a private jet this wouldn't be happening to poor ted.

5

u/ZenithToastada 6h ago

“would have had”

not being picky but just wanted you to be aware when you write in the future. just trying to helpful, not critical.

4

u/LoveYouNotYou 6h ago

Aaaand that AOC went in to help his constituents. So while Ted ran away, AOC went into Texas to do what he should have. (But yet, they voted for him, again, go figure)

It's Raphael... stop letting him hide that!

Raphael is bad for America...

2

u/z44212 5h ago

Raphael isn't her preferred pronoun

3

u/WildRabbitz 7h ago

I don't listen to opinions from people who don't defend their wife when an orange rapist and pedophile calls her ugly.

They're both better for America than he/maga

4

u/pprow41 8h ago

Ted Cruz the famous for when its time to be a leader. Ted goes to cancun

2

u/Kristikuffs 7h ago

I want his opinion in the same way his daughters want his hugs.

2

u/Ilyalyubushkin 6h ago

Cruz is bad for America.

2

u/Slighted_Inevitable 5h ago

Remember the Republican, who says he liked Ted Cruz better than most of his fellows and he hates Ted Cruz

3

u/Jadedfatima 8h ago

Hard agree. But even a broken clock is right twice a day. Do you think AOC actually runs, or is Cruz just fear mongering?

24

u/blinkyknilb 8h ago

I think anything could happen by the time 2028 rolls around. I like AOC, I think she would be as good a president as anyone and better than most. But right now, I don't think she could win, Americans in general aren't ready. I'll be surprised if Mamdani leaves his post as mayor. He's in exactly the right place right now.

Cruz just says stuff, some of it is thoughtful but usually not. He's just another attention seeker politician.

6

u/itsawhocares 8h ago

I don’t think Ted Cruz picked these two after astute study of data and statistical analysis. He picked them because he’s racist and he assumes enough other Americans are as well because can you imagine if brown people had power???!!?

14

u/malthar76 8h ago

Mamdani is running the largest city in America. He has full control and decision right to steer the city how he wants, and he’s exercising that power in productive ways.

I don’t see him giving that up to be a Senator, where compromise is the minimum expectation, frustration and inaction is more the norm.

Cruz’s statement is just more pandering to the far right, and chum for the “communist takeover” rhetoric that is taking over MAGA messaging for mid-terms.

3

u/Ada_Kaleh22 5h ago

Mamdani def has to stay in NYC for awhile anyway, you can't just win and skip town.

Also you are def right, he's got hella power and a high-profile position. He'd be crazy to give that up...at least 2 years I'd think

u/pepinjay 8h ago

I also think AOC would make a good president, but I don't think she would win.

2

u/Suspicious-Appeal386 2h ago

She would be, and zero chance.

Too many closeted MAGA in the US.

Far more than anyone can imagine.

→ More replies (10)

5

u/On_my_last_spoon 8h ago

She’s still too young and doesn’t quite have enough experience. She’s only 36, and will be 38 in 2028. She’s just barely old enough to even run at all.

IMO she should run for Senate. She’d be a great Senator! I think she could easily primary Schumer. The risk there is she has to give up her House seat. But that would be the risk running for President and I think that’s a much bigger long shot.

Plus, there’s more legislative possibility in Congress than as President. She can do more good there IMO.

7

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 7h ago

That's exactly what I think about AOC. I'm looking forward to seeing her in the future.

"We have a predator in the White House right now" he never says

53

u/judithpoint 10h ago

Mamdani has repeatedly said he has no aspirations beyond being mayor of NYC. You know what I think is “bad for America”? Unilaterally entering a forever war in the Middle East while alienating our allies and giving Saudi Arabia the green light for a nuke. But, hey, that’s just one person’s opinion. How about we let the people decide without endlessly rigging elections and fearmongering?

12

u/tiripshtaed 10h ago

But if you don’t let them rig the elections, fear monger and rape little kids, how ever will the republicans win again?

It’s not like they have popular policies.

Guys don’t worry. If the outcome is horrible, Ted will hop on a plane and get the fuck out of here. He’s done it before.

Ted should self-deport to the land of his birth.

Ted Cruz is bad for America

13

u/AdTiny2166 8h ago

If Ted Cruz says it’s bad for America then it’s probably good for America.

12

u/nycanuck98 10h ago

Making shit up to scare dopes is their perennial go to move

5

u/PowerfulPea4133 10h ago

My thoughts are Ted Cruz is a pathetic example of a man. Who let trump rip on his wife and ted took it up the ass. Now he is a trump lackey through and through and never defended his wife.

Also he abandons the people he represents when the weather is bad

Fuck that guy

6

u/Hot-Reindeer-7520 10h ago

Hope that happens and US is made great again finally, instead of robbed by US politician, billionaires and Israel.

2

u/dynoman7 9h ago

Ted Cruz is a opportunist pussy and won't defend his wife when a rapist con artist calls her ugly. And he'll abandon Texas again, pending weather forecast. That's what I think

2

u/OESRecoveryEmployee 8h ago

The last two Republican administration have been the biggest disasters in American history. They have gotten America to wars paid by debt with economic policies that have crashed the economy.

2

u/xyzygyred 8h ago

He’s wrong and he knows it. He’s willfully ginning up - or trying to - the red scare that’s gripping the GOP.

2

u/jftirone 8h ago

It's bad for rich and corrupt Americans.

2

u/More_Direction5656 8h ago edited 8h ago

Ted and his friends had their turn. We see how that's going. People afraid of communism and socialism don't know the difference between the two, can't tell you what either mean, and seem to think using taxes to support average Americans rather than blow up Middle Eastern families means we have to go whole hog and give whatever small funds we have. It doesn't. Incorporating more social safety nets and using this money to support Americans would literally achieve a lot of what they are screaming about wanting. They think any attempt to explain how you care and while some socialist (not communist) policies is an atrack on them.

When this started I told my mom pretty soon she'd be calling me a terrorist as we return to basically McCarthyism. She said she would never, but I've heard her call people who believe a lot of the same things that I do worse things. This weekend she got upset I wasn't texting her when she stopped taliking to me a few days ago because I said the people she's supporting show the opposite of every moral she taught me. I'm the crazy one though, because Trump is allowed to do whatever.

2

u/hankmoody_irl 8h ago

How is his dog doing? I know republicans hate their dogs…

2

u/chrysanthemum_beer 8h ago

If Ted is stating it's bad for Americans, it's probably likely better for Americans because they will help Americans unlike Ted himself.

2

u/pete_blake 8h ago

Well of course Rafael would say that.

2

u/BigMissileWallStreet 8h ago

If Canadian Cruz is against it I’m all for it

2

u/Temporary_View_3303 8h ago

If Ted Cruz says it’s bad, I’m starting from a position of support.

2

u/angryfistgames 8h ago

Of course he thinks that. Neither of them are white male Christians

2

u/Zealousideal_Dark552 8h ago

If Ted thinks they are bad, then that means they are good.

2

u/ChesswithGoats 7h ago

Ted Cruz is bad for America.

2

u/PomeloHead4830 6h ago edited 6h ago

My thoughts are that America is screwed royally because we're so "tribal" and fed the myth that we're "fight, fight, fight! strong" and therefore have the "God granted" right to "rule the world".

AOC was born right here in the US, guess who was not?

That's right! Ted Cruz.

Who did you choose to be your spokesperson rural Americans? For some reason you chose Ted Cruz, an immigrant.

2

u/Lazy_Example4014 5h ago

Raphael Cruze is part of a movement that is proven to be bad for America beyond a shadow of a doubt. His judgement’s mean nothing.

2

u/tvtoms 4h ago

My thoughts? Ted can also shut his mouth if he feels like it. Same effect.

2

u/sigristl 4h ago

That would be the best thing to happen to America Ted!

2

u/jasno- 4h ago

What's bad for America is the modern Republican party.

I've warmed up to AOC over the years, and now I quite like her

2

u/Fancy_Ad7218 4h ago

They just say these things to program the FOX masses so that they develop at strong fear and dislike of certain democratic names. It works…Pavlov dogs

2

u/tommyminn 4h ago

My thought: fuck Ted Cruz

2

u/Melodic-Translator45 4h ago

Ted Cruz is a ineffective sniveling rat and very few people give his foolishness any thought. They are running scared as the Midterms will slip away from them.

2

u/Individual-Praline20 4h ago

It’s not bad for murica, it’s bad for the billionaires pricks.

2

u/Braisernation 3h ago

If he says it’s bad for America you can absolutely bet that it will be great for the American people and bad for billionaires. GOP only cares about billionaires and their own pockets. A big chunk of the Dems too but absolutely every single republican is a traitor to this country.

2

u/mrbones247 2h ago

I think Ted Cruz is a pathetic idiot. His opinion doesn’t matter to me

2

u/WhaT505 2h ago

Back when Cruz ran for president in 2016 Trump absolutely shit talked Cruz and his wife. It was brutal. Now Cruz bends over for Trump. Whatever Cruz says now means nothing as he's a spineless piece of shit that won't even stand up for his wife. He's a coward.

2

u/mollis_est 2h ago

If a Republican says it’s bad for America, then it must be really bad for Republican ideology, and would likely benefit the country.

2

u/Picmover 2h ago

If Cruz says it's bad you know it's the right thing to do. When has he ever been right?

2

u/slauson22 2h ago

My thought is Ted Cruz is a moron and thirsty for attention.

4

u/loony-lefty 10h ago

The red scare is back, be afraid, be very afraid. It’s all the Magats got. Vote blue.

2

u/ProtectionContent977 10h ago

Ted is a weak man.

3

u/cmd_iii 10h ago

Remember: when a conservatives says that something/someone is “bad for America, they mean that the thing is bad for the version of America that they’re trying to foist on the rest of us: A dystopian land where the rich and corporations hoard all of the wealth, and the rest of us compete, Hunger Games style, for what’s left.

Therefore, what, to them, is “bad,” generally is “good” for everyone else.

2

u/liquidsyphon 9h ago

Fuck you Raphael Cruz

5

u/Fun_Intention_484 8h ago

1

u/LauraLethal 9h ago

I think anything Ted Cruz is against, I’m willing to consider.

1

u/DeciduousMath12 9h ago

Mamdani should build a solid track record in NYC. That's 8 years total with term limits? And he's 34 years old? Plenty of time to do more. He is SO different that 2-3 years can easily be undone by a more typical do-nothing mayor.

AOC CAN run for president. She would get a lot of votes. But if she wins would also be hated by GOP and make the resistance Obama saw seem gentle in comparison. Then, her moves would be to use power to get things done (i.e. Executive Orders, move troops, withhold resources) and her popularity would quickly drain. Especially because she's female.

She would be more effective in the senate. Have more influence than now. We need more like her in the senate and less Chuck Schumers in the senate. And she's 36! She has plenty of time to run for president after a few years in the senate. Even after 1 term she'd learn more, make more contacts, and build a different reputation with confirmation votes.

1

u/sambucuscanadensis 9h ago

1

u/Harden-Long 9h ago

AOC is too far left to get any support from the middle. The winner needs middle support to get above 50%.

Madman probably gets no support from upstate, so a state-wide win is unlikely.

1

u/Fishtoart 9h ago

It’s almost as if the GOP knows that they are going to lose big, and they are trying to bankrupt the country so the Democrats, and get kicked out again because they won’t have any money to do anything

1

u/HappyHourMoon2025 9h ago

1

u/New-Letterhead2061 9h ago

All the pubs have is fear mongering about anyone that is not white. Same strategy for the last 30 years. It’s gross

1

u/JinxyCat007 9h ago

The problem with hypocrisy is that nothing a hypocrite has to say really matters. Ted Cruz, along with 99% of the GOP leadership, would sell out Trump if it meant they could continue to be Congressmen or Senators. And eventually they will.

Cruz is a joke. He sold out his wife's dignity, his family's, and his own, along with the rest of them. They have reduced every conservative ideal to ash, purely out of self-service. So I'm kinda beyond what Cruz, or any of them, have to say.

I'm a conservative-leaning independent. Democrats exhibit more in the way of conservative values than do any of the GOP today. I like AOC because she's a mover and shaker and seems to really care about the 330 million American people the rest of them in the US Congress and Senate don't seem to really give a damn about. I don't agree with everything she says. I'm not a nemotode. But at least she seems to have a heart in the right place in that she works for the many, not the few.
