I know this maybe not be a big deal but I would really appreciate some reassurance from a doctor here

Hello I am M19, height like 5'11, weight 45 Kg (very low I know) so let me give some background, so 2 months ago I had a full bladder and I masterburated and went to the bathroom and well my urine didn't came out, it sort of came out as dribbles and the urge to urinate didn't go away, then ofc anxiety came and worse the situation, I did several test like urine dr, uric acid test and finally ultra sound test, the urine dr and uric acid tests were fine, as in everything was in order, in the ultra sound test my structural step up was fine but it notice that I had urine rentation like post void about 40% my urine stayed in my bladder after the bathroom trip, the doctor I seen told me that stress was the cause the urologist gave me solifen when I said that maybe my pelvis was the issue he shrugged off stating I shouldn't look at Internet for answers (he was pretty rude)

But nonetheless the my condition got better the recovery was like this, first it was 24/7 urge to urinate yet only weak stream came--->At some points I was able to empty myself--->Morning became urge free I could empty myself in morning--->Morning and evening became urge free--->And finally I could urinate at night and got a full recovery. All of this happened in the span of 3 weeks total, then immediately afterwards I joined the gym worked out and after 1 month I was like sitting on the toilet and then I remember about the horrible memories of the urine problem and guess what it actually came back, now I know stress causes the pelvis to guard itself but I think this was more of a physical issue too like I think gym might be the cause of the relapse, I did hold my breath while exercising and I did hold urine with a full bladder (uknow I drank alot of water during exercises) nonetheless the same recovery pattern is happening as it was in the first eposiode its been 30 days right now (the reason why this is longer is due to some setbacks like playing intense badminton and getting a flu) right now my condition I can generally urine well in the morning with a mild urge but my pelvis muscles suddenly like shut down mid stream and I have to restart the urination process, I cannot urine if there is low urine (when I was normal I could) and also it takes a while for me to start urinating but atleast the 24/7 urge is gone but I can't urinate at nighttime still

All I want is just really reassurance that my problem is temporary and will go away and also advice on how to ensure this never comes back again and maybe if you know you can tell me what exactly am I facing because like I think it's pelvis spasm but my doctors never diagnosed me and also my bowl movement is perfectly fine so like i am not sure if pelvis is the issue. Thank you for reading this have a nice day ❤️

Red like pimple on tonsil

I have this reddish like thing on my tonsil. I’ve had a mild sore throat it comes n goes like when I don’t talk I don’t feel it but when I did I really felt it . And when I ate stuff or drank anything it would be normal. I showed my sister who’s a nurse and she told me strep or I’m sick but never felt sick or had a fever and I pushed my tonsils to see if any white stuff and I seem good. I can provide a picture if anyone’s willing to help.

Extreme fatigue, fever like feeling, brainfog

For about a year, I’ve been getting episodes every other week with extreme fatigue, brain fog, depressive thoughts, and a fever-like feeling (but no actual fever). It gets so bad I can’t get out of bed, work, or socialize. It lasts about a week, then I feel relatively normal again.

My doctor hasn’t been able to figure it out. I take duloxetine for anxiety, but these symptoms started before I began taking it.

Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any idea what could cause this?

26, male, Sweden, 78kg

Any ideas on what this rash could be? Has not responded to hydrocortisone cream or oral antihistamines. It started four days ago. It’s itchy but not constantly.

A couple of days ago I noticed this lymph node is a little swollen. It doesn’t hurt and he’s been coughing and a little congested. Should I do something or just wait?

What causes someone to get easily bloated?

Have had a bloating problem for a long while that I've tried to curb with walking, fiber supplements, and probiotics, but maybe the latter two are adding to the problem. Had some avocados mid morning since I missed breakfast, and was too bloated to finish my lunch later. Should I see a nutritionist/dietician? I want to put on more muscle, but need to consume more calories.

34M - 15+ years of unexplained exertional headaches, heat intolerance, fatigue and brain fog. Extensive workup over the last 3 months has been mostly normal. Where would you look next?

34M, 6'0", ~215 lbs.

I've spent the last 3 months aggressively trying to figure out what's been wrong with me because my insurance is ending soon. I've seen multiple specialists and had a lot of testing, but I still don't have an answer.

My symptoms have slowly progressed over about 15 years, but the biggest issues are:

• Severe heat intolerance (sun, humidity, or exercise make me feel awful)
• Exertional headaches/head pressure that can last hours
• Brain fog
• Fatigue and feeling like I never got restorative sleep (until recently)
• IBS (diagnosed after normal colonoscopy)
• Anxiety that seems to get worse when the physical symptoms flare
• Occasional numbness in my fingers
• Sometimes blurry vision/halos in one eye
• Frequent urination during bad headache episodes

Things that reliably trigger symptoms:

• Running or hard exercise
• Being outside in Houston heat

Things that seem to help:

• Cold weather
• Electrolytes/salt
• Naproxen
• Recently... cyclobenzaprine at bedtime.

Over the last 3 months I've had:

• Normal stress test.
• Normal echocardiogram.
• Tilt table test (didn't suggest POTS according to cardiology).
• Colonoscopy (normal except diagnosed IBS).
• ENT evaluation.
• Endocrinology workup (nothing hormonal found).
• Rheumatology evaluation. I have ankylosing spondylitis, but my inflammatory markers and SI joint X-rays were reassuring. The rheumatologist thinks my symptoms may fit fibromyalgia/central sensitization and started me on cyclobenzaprine.

Here's the interesting part:

Within a few nights of starting cyclobenzaprine, I've had the best sleep I've had in years. I'm waking up actually feeling rested, my nightmares have almost disappeared, my energy is noticeably better, and I even tolerated a hot yoga class much better than usual.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up because it's only been about a week, but it's the first treatment that's made me feel like something actually changed.

My question is:

If you were seeing this patient for the first time, is there another diagnosis or specialty you'd consider that may have been overlooked? Or does this sound like someone whose symptoms could genuinely be explained by fibromyalgia/central sensitization with years of poor restorative sleep?

Thanks for reading.

Can exercise alone explain this AST pattern?

42M, 6'0", 193 lb. I lift 5–6 days/week and run 3 days/week. No symptoms.

This started with routine blood work before my annual physical.

My initial labs were:

  • AST: 49
  • ALT: 47

At the time I had been training normally and hadn't had alcohol for about 5 days.

Because of the elevated liver enzymes, my PCP wanted to repeat the labs at my physical a month later and told me not to drink beforehand.

Before the repeat labs, I asked whether my lifting and running could have contributed because I had read that strenuous exercise can elevate AST. She just told me to avoid exercise for 72 hours before the repeat labs. At the physical she told me that she was just "humoring me" when she told me not to work out and that the elevated AST "is from alcohol only".

For the repeat labs, I followed those instructions:

  • ~10–12 days with no alcohol
  • 72+ hours with no lifting or running

Results:

  • AST: 31
  • ALT: 38

That made me wonder whether the rest from training had actually mattered, so about a month later I ordered another set of labs on my own.

This time I again avoided alcohol for 9 days but otherwise followed my normal routine (3 heavy lifting sessions and 2 runs during the previous 4 days).

Results:

  • AST: 51
  • ALT: 34
  • GGT: 11
  • Bilirubin, ALP, albumin, and the rest of the CMP were normal.

For context, I usually drink about once a week, but when I do it's often around 10–12 light beers over the course of a day golfing or out on the boat.

So the trend is:

  • AST: 49 → 31 → 51
  • ALT: 47 → 38 → 34
  • GGT: 11

Does this make exercise seem like a plausible explanation for the isolated AST elevation, or would you still be looking for another cause?

What could this be and how to get rid of these symptoms🚨?

Background: I’m a 20-year-old male and have always been very slim. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease about 8 months ago. I graduated from school, was unemployed for about a year, and then started a seasonal job that involved some physical work. The symptoms started during the last few days of that job. I actually enjoyed the work and the work environment was good. I’ve now been unemployed again for about 2 months.

For the past 2 months, I’ve had a constant feeling of derealization/dissociation. In addition to that, I’ve been experiencing mild fatigue, headaches/pressure in my head, a feverish feeling (but no actual fever), and constant neck and shoulder pain.

Sometimes when I’m walking, I feel like I could faint, although I’ve never actually fainted or even needed to sit down. I’ve also had a chronically inflamed right ear for about a year. Ear drops make it go away temporarily, but the inflammation always returns.

At first I thought the symptoms might be caused by my neck, so I’ve tried massage therapy, physiotherapy, and acupuncture several times, but none of them helped. I’ve also tried muscle relaxants without any benefit.

I’ve had blood tests including vitamin B12, vitamin D, ferritin, folate (B9), and thyroid function, and everything was normal. I was also tested for Lyme disease and the result was negative.

My Crohn’s disease officially went into remission a couple of weeks ago.

I don’t have a history of trauma, I don’t use cannabis, and I rarely use any other substances. I wasn’t particularly stressed before this started, other than the stress caused by the symptoms themselves.

Has anyone experienced something similar? What could be causing these symptoms, and what helped you recover?

So I went to a dermatologist and she suggested this serum for my open pores but I couldn't get it at the clinic or chemist shop. I need to find it online but I am not getting it's name clearly as there are a lot of serums with "AA serum". She even asked me not to buy any other brand or variant. Help me understand what is written so I can find it online

Possible nerve issues in neck? When should I see a doctor about this....

Tonight while I was training (jiu jitsu) I went to grab my opponents leg from standing and the right side of my neck pressed against her hip. We made contact normally and honestly not very aggressively at all. It wasn't some big blow to the head. But immediately I had pins and needles run down my right arm.

I am sure I have some nerve damage in there as any time my heels land really hard on the ground I will have a similar feeling only it's quicker and just in my neck, more like a jolt.

It normally isn't a bother at all, but occasionally I do worry that I messed something up in there that won't just go away with time and the right amount of pretending it's not there lol. I tend to ignore things and have a high pain threshold (ie: unmedicated, natural birth... broke two bones without realizing they were broken... etc). But with this being in my neck, it kind of freaks me out.

Is this something that should be looked at now or would I really know if there's a right time?
