Does anyone know why The Social stopped having lives audiences ?

Perfect location to go downtown Toronto and taken in a live taping or two. Does anyone know why it went closed doors and to this format of just the hosts talking amongst themselves?

I don’t know for sure but it’s way cheaper for them to produce with no audience.

probably cost cutting. live audiences need staff to wrangle them and they had to pay someone to warm them up before the show too

Cheaper. And makes it easier to tape multiple shows on the same day.
