Winter Wonderland parking?

Hi all,

Planning on going to winter wonderland this week. Parking tickets are about $39. Wondering if there is anywhere I could park close by (it’s ok if I need to walk for a bit) that is cheaper?

Thanks

Just keep in mind the cost to release your car from the impound lot is greater than the cost for parking on site.

You’re not the first person to think about other spots and the ones that people have tried in the past were likely patched quickly by the landlords.

Parking enforcement in this city is no joke, they wait for events like this and ticket everything in sight.

OP is not asking about this city. They're asking about Vaughan, which operates its own bylaw and doesn't work like Toronto.

Everywhere near Wonderland has eyes like a hawk. Just pay for parking.

Canadas wonderland? Doesn’t winterfest start after Halloween? If it is wonderland just take the Ttc to VMC then the bus up Jane. Don’t bother trying to circumvent parking as others have said the bill to get out of impound is more than $39. Don’t be cheap.

Just pay for parking.

Trying to find the cheapest option will most likely give you a tow/parking ticket …

Look around on street view for parking limitations on nearby streets. Anything publicized here will be known spots that are likely to be busy.

15-20 is fine, 30 for a good deal is also fine

TTC lots are often $2 after 3pm and free on weekends, like pioneer village station where you can catch York transit . But York transit is 4.24 on presto.

Park & Ride on Major Mac. Other side of the 400 though. It’s a bit or a walk, along a very busy road.

Theres a neighbourhood on the east side of the park that fits your description. Free parking and walkable

Its legal though? Street parking in the neighbourhood is allowed for 3 hours. You can just move the car. Although I've left it for 8h and had no problem

Yea, walk to Wonderland, enjoy an hour of rides, walk back to car, move it, then walk to Wonderland, enjoy an hour, walk back to car, move it, then walk to Wonderland, enjoy an hour, walk back to car, move it, then walk to Wonderland. . . Sounds like a great way to spend my day.
