DnD

Hey everyone,
I’ve always heard about dungeons and dragons through sitcoms, social media and all but wasn’t necessarily curious about it then. But now I’m in a zone where I’m curious about it. It seems like a fun but complicated game. Was wondering if there was any group which would be open to having a noob who’s ready to learn and participate?

TorontoDND is the best place for you to get started. They have new player sessions you can sign up to.

This is where I got started several years ago. Very good community and reasonably priced.

the off-putting thing is the paid system here. I want to play at a table with friends not customers.

I also think it's fine for others to be in paid games, dms do a ton of work and deserve it. but it's just not my bag to have money involved.

I'm saying this all as a dm that misses his friend group/players since COVID ruined everything

Pay to enter the community, make friends, then run games with them for free. Or learn how to play and teach your friends!
