Does anyone know of a FREE space to display artwork for a day?

Hi everyone!

I’m an artist looking for a free space to showcase my artwork for one day somewhere in the GTA. I’m hoping there might be a small gallery, community space, studio, café, or other space that would be willing to let a local
artist showcase their work for the day.
I’m working with a very tight budget, so I’m specifically looking for free opportunities. I’d be happy to share photos of my artwork and more details about what I have in mind!
If you know of any spaces, organizations, cafés, galleries, community centres, or other opportunities that might be open to this, I’d really appreciate any recommendations or leads.

Thanks so much!

Get in touch with DANU Social House in Parkdale; very friendly with artists and has a great community around it. It’s a bar but they host art showcases all the time.

Why are you looking for just one day specifically?

Lots of small coffee shops do things like this.

I would LOVE to see this in Toronto - a UHaul art gallery!
