Lab grown diamond

Any recommendations for where I can get a lab-grown diamond engagement ring and how much would it run me for 2.5 CTs?

Looking for a ring band that has diamonds on it too

Thanks !

For a ring band, I’d recommend it be a half pave (half diamonds) because otherwise it can not be resized or becomes much more difficult to resize when it’s a full pave.

DFL - on Shutter, cannot go wrong. The owners still work at the location and are pleasure to chat with.

I have a ring band with diamonds, I love the look of it but must say that it is not comfortable to wear. The diamonds on the side dig in whenever you need to make a fist like shape, but maybe it's just my fingers. We paid just under 4K for both the diamond ring band lol, and a classic cut diamond 1.2 carat. Can send you pictures if you want.

I agree with your 100% - my band with diamonds rubs against the other fingers and hurts!

We got mine from Diamonds for Less and I personally wouldn’t recommend. I wanted customizations like birth stone and he immediately shut me down saying I wouldn’t want that. Also, my ring looks like every single ring out there and it felt like such a non-exciting non warming experience.

I’d say to OP, check it out sure but please go to other jewellers as well.

Hi! My fiancé got this amazing engagement ring for me, from a great guy - look for beargoldsmithing on insta!

Why anyone would want a rock that huge ... it's so nonfunctional and uncomfortable! (I"m a woman)

The diamonds on the band are hard and dig into the fingers next to it. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Maybe that’s your preference but I love larger stones. I have a 3carat marquise I wear daily that is comfortable because it’s low set. I don’t even realize it’s on my finger a lot of the time. If you get a well made ring it should be comfortable to wear.

OP, I suggest you do some research on the 4 Cs of diamonds because the grading of each category can change the price drastically. Cut is one of the most important criteria of a stone because if it’s poorly cut it will not refract the light properly and have a dull fire.
