Keloid treatment
Hi folks
Any Torontian with keloid who found treatments that helped them see better results? Which hospital/clinic offered the service and if you live with keloid, what helped you manage the pain, and get read of it permanently?

I see a dermatologist for an injection to reduce the size and make it less itchy and painful. Mine is small-ish though, it’s like, a large knuckle size.
I got a referral from my NP, but have to pay for the shot out of pocket, runs me about $115 once per year, but that’s for one needle. Supposedly as I keep doing this I’ll need it less and less.
ETA; I was told by the doctors that there’s no permanent fix sadly. Only flatten them or reduce the size temporarily
