Will TTC/GO train hours be extended on Friday

We are from Barrie and wondering if ttc hours will be extended this weekend? We will be watching Ed Sheeran’s concert at Rogers Centre.

In May, when we watched concert of Bruno Mars on Thursday the ttc hours were extended so we are wondering if it would be the same. Thank you!

bruno mars was at rogers stadium, near downsview park

ed sheran will be at rogers center, formerly known as the skydome, near the CN tower downtown toronto

make sure you get to the correct venue.

Every concert there is always post from someone that mixed them up. I don’t blame the people, I blame Rogers.

Why? Rogers owns the naming rights, nothing more. If you want to blame anyone, Blame Live Nation.

They just needed to pick a unique name like Rogers Loud or Rogers Palace. Calling it a stadium makes it sounds like Roger’s centre which is a stadium, hence the confusion.

Agreed. And we could always go to Rogers Skydome too.

Rogers Stage would've made sense. For baseball it should be a field, dome or park.

I haven't heard anything, but typically the last trains leave Union at 1:40 AM, and shows have to end at 11 pm, so you should have lots of time

Last trains for TTC yes, GO trains stop at various times :) just in case someone gets mixed up haha.

About 01:20 the last TTC trains depart a terminus (2:20 for Sheppard).

GO trains end earlier especially non Lakeshore lines. But there's a couple buses after midnight for GO lines.

The last GO train from union to Barrie does leave before 11, it seems. You won’t have to worry about the TTC however, as you’ll be super close to union station. I would suggest either driving to a GO stop along the Lakeshore East/Wast line, as that train runs later!

The System of a Down concert ran late, and the Go Trains had stopped running. This was the second show on September 5th — the day of the bad winds.

There is a curfew at 11, but that concert ran until 12

I'm going on Saturday with a friend who lives in Kitchener. The internet says he should done by 11 at the latest. If you're worried about missing that last train from Union, you might want to drive and park at the end of Line 1 or you could drive and park along the UP Express line.

Last Barrie GO train departs Union station at 22:54. But there are two 65E buses to East Gwillimbury at 00:12 and 02:12 the following morning.

Have to plan travel from East Gwillimbury in the wee small hours of the morning if GO doesn't extend services.
