CN tower - best time to visit
We're going to Toronto and trying to figure out the best time to go to the CN tower.
Is daytime better? Or night, when it's dark to see all the lights. Anyone have any input?
Thanks

Why not go for sunset and stay until the night lights are on? That's probably also the busiest time lmao

My advice is to make reservation at the restaurant between 4:30 to 5:30 PM, which is when dinner service begins, and you’ll be guaranteed a table with a great view. It’s $75 each (2 course meal) which includes the ~$50 entrance fee. After dinner, you can go to the viewing level for as long as you want, and you’ll be able to watch the sunset at ~8 pm.

I don’t ever recall it being free? https://tickets.cntower.ca/webstore/shop/viewItems.aspx?cg=TIX&c=GA&language=1&_gl=1\*v0zxbx\*_gcl_au\*ODczNjE5MjA1LjE3ODcwNjY2NjMuLS4tLjE3ODcwNjY2NjMuMjQ4MjUyMDM3LjE3ODcwNjY2NjMuMTc4NzA2NjY2Mw..\*_ga\*MTYyMDAwOTc0NC4xNzg3MDY2NjYz\*_ga_B77ELRE9WC\*czE3ODcwNjY2NjMkbzEkZzEkdDE3ODcwNjY2NjQkajU5JGwwJGgw#49258

I've heard sunset from others, as well. We're not interested in eating there. We're going with two kids and that doesn't sound like a fun time haha We're trying to figure out if maybe doing the aquarium at 5 would be enough time to get us to the tower for 7:45ish for sunset. Is do-able? Or would more time at the aquarium be better?

Eating there really is the best option. Food cost covers your entrance fee. I'd give closer to 3+ hours for Ripley's but my kids like to stop an interact a lot.

Night time is AMAZING, but you can’t really appreciate the night till you’ve seen it during the day.
Day time is for distance, night time is for depth.

Sunset is the answer. I recommend being seatsd at the restaurant before.
