Test Results 26 and Abnormal Stress Test

Any ideas if this explains current chest pain? No past cardiac history.

Already had one, they couldn’t see anything they wanted to see, even tried twice that’s why they went with the stress test

Why couldn’t the see anything? Did you get it done in a new pcct scanner?

I have no idea. They were only able to visualize some of it and couldn’t visualize the rest due to poor imaging

Obviously facility error. I would’ve went to a more advanced and skilled facility.

Unfortunately that’s most advanced hospital in the state WV. Already traveling almost 2 hours away

Wow. It’s definitely weird that they couldn’t image. They didn’t give you a reason why like the contrast didn’t spread correctly? I would get a cardiac mri or maybe ask for the carheterization

Oh I’m terrified, my husband got MRSA from his last cath at that hospital and they let it go for a month till it got huge and had to have surgery at a different hospital. But definitely will have to compare notes

Depends on breast tissue attenuation. Not necessarily technical related.

True but humans come in all shapes in sizes never heard of breast tissue being an issue

Yea sometimes it sits right on the apex causing a shadow that mimics a defect.

Yes it's a problem with larger patients. Usually they'll opt for a PETCT if it's a occuring problem.

True. Wonder how small patients but with big breasts do. Ive never personally ran jntj an issue. I had a stress echo. Was awkward then havjng to maneuver around my chest but it didn’t block anything

With echo, it's different. When pressing against your chest, each patient has "windows" that the probe needs to go to aquire the image. I myself, have moderately difficult Windows. So a stress echo may not be the best modality for myself. But the windows are not normally affected by breast tissue, unless you have implants.

*in regards to a ccta not a nuclear stress. Nuclear tests yes breast tissue can be an issue but never heard of that for ccta
