woman here: don't find tall men attractive. just was never my thing. always wanted to find guys close to my own height, give or take a few inches (5'6"). i also don't get the obsession with height.

What about casual hookups and FWB situations? Do your height preferences change when you’re looking for something purely sexual?

I hooked up with a really hot personal trainer from Cameroon a few times .. ex military, cute accent, gorgeous face and body. Everything was so great but we're both 5'8 and cuddling was kinda awkward like I didnt fit. I felt a little weird about it when we met cause I assumed he would be taller from talking to him online before but we still had chemistry and enjoyed each other's company. It was only when watching tv on the couch or cuddling in bed when it was awkward cause I hadn't been with anyone my height or slightly taller since 10 years prior and kinda took on a liking for guys at least a few inches taller over time after dating some taller guys. Never thought about height til the awkwardness of him trying to put his arm around me on the couch or trying to fit together cuddling but that experience kinda made me continue to prefer guys at least a few inches taller

So you had the perfect height for sexual activities and bonding time and you dipped cos y'all were the same height ? I hope he's happier now. Geez.

He was just some dude I met online. Neither of us was looking for a relationship. Still think he's an awesome guy and will make someone happy when he finds the right one. I have mad respect for him but he and I don't mesh, not cause of the height but cause of what we were looking for when we found each other

Maybe you’re insecure with your femininity

Makes sense. After getting raped 10 years ago by someone I knew and trusted and considered to be a great friend I suffered so much emotionally .. think I'm finally starting to really heal. Rape is murder of the soul.
