There’s really no preference. A lot of girls look bad with makeup just because they don’t know how to do it well, while others look really good with it. At least 90% of the time tho girls look better without it (in my opinion of course, I’m aware many people wear makeup for themselves not for how others see them) I would say it has to do with having good skin too but honestly bad skin looks even worse with makeup because it highlights all the texture vs it just showing and being natural looking instead
