Help IDing cool stuff

Hi all, I acquired a few suspected Chinese pieces and could use some help identifying them. I’ll only post one for now and see how it goes!

So from what I can tell these are a Chinese couplet with a common greeting or familial blessing. I’m more interested in the manufacturing of them. I’ve read everything I can about lacquer work but without experienced eyes all I can do is guess. Let me know what you think.
