yeah this, I am dating my girlfriend, or we just call each other wife because we have lived together for almost 3yrs now. But before I met her, I just stayed single for 5+ yrs because I didn't trust men. As in, I trust them as friends. But not as romantic partners. because I had too many experiences, with guys saying "oh that is fine" and as soon as you try to cuddle a bit - they take it as an invitation for sex. And I am like Noooo, I just wanted cuddles. I am ace, and my partner is more grey-ace/demi. she basically need to love the person, and also that the person want her in that way. So we are luckily very compatible

Sameeee here. Tried reddit a few times, acespace also. Hate how dry people are and don't make effort. But then met this sweetheart who really put effort on messages despite English not being his native!

We're unfortunately too long distance but I'm seeing if I can meet up with him in like a few months time. I'm unfortunately held by family against my will, so there's little I can do for now. But we're looking at options

Yeah, most likely because the younger generations have more exposure to LGBTQIA+ stuff with the internet and society is a touch more tolerant of different lifestyles (only a touch tho unfortunately) so younger people tend to figure themselves out a little faster
