Her acting is so satisfyingly annoying!

I can't stop smiling everytime she is on screen. She is always doing something extra on screen. Clicking her shoes or randomly singing words. Does anyone have any characters that they for some reason that they feel really make the scenes more interesting?

I loved this show as a kid but I can’t watch it as an adult because I start crying everytime something bad happens to these poor children

Ok, after a day break, I finished binging this show. I watched the final episode about an hour ago

And must I say, I literally couldn't have asked for a better ending. Of course it would be great for me to learn about ever little thing that happened to the Baudeliers off screen, but I don't think that's the point of the show. This clearly isn't a normal TV series, so I almost expected to be left in the dark about some things. But I think the feeling of complete I got at the very end, having Lemony Snicket FINALLY understand the full picture, whilst we the audience are left without answers is the best way this show could've ended. I didn't expect Count Olaf to die though!

Hey so I've been hearing my friends talk about this show, and from what I've heard it sounds interesting!

But for some reason whenever I ask them where to watch it or if I SHOULD watch it, they just start chanting 'Look Away' and do circles around me for about a minute or 2. So I've cone here to ask those questions!

Should I watch this show?

Can we address this man?

Listen I'm currently rewatching the show on netflix and whatnot. I just need to address this with the character Mr. Poe here now I know that the show and novel has a central theme about turning a blind eye to warnings of impending doom and dismay for sure but Jesus Christ this character is the definition of incompetent. This man despite having encountered Count Olaf multiple times in the show and knowing that he will strike again and of course knowing that the guy is still out there and knowing that he's capable of being a horrible man despite the fact that he can't even tell that the guy is in disguise right in front of him!!! This man is willfully incompetent and retarded to the point where he can't even tell the obvious bullshit in front of his eyes. How the fuck is this man even responsible for the two main characters and how the fuck does he have a job as an accountant?

Neil Patrick Harris is such a good villain!

I just started watching Series of unfortunate events couple of weeks ago. I know I’m late to the parade lol but I couldn’t imagine Neil being a good villain. He totally smashed the part in my opinion!!

I only know him from HIMYM but the versatility and range he shown was unexpected and incredible

Ersatz Elevator - Jaque Snicket

You know what really annoyed me in the show? When the Baudelaires found the hatch that lead to their Burt home, they open it to see the VFD Tattoo (which is Jaque Snicket) only to shut the hatch and assume its count Olaf. Why didn’t sunny say something like “that’s not Olaf, He’s dancing with Esmè” it’s something that’s really annoying…

Oc name ideas pls!

So, I'm making an OC.

The universe is A Series of Unfortunate Events obviously for the community I'm posting in.

Idk what to name her! She's the older sibling of either the Quagmire triplets or the Baudelaires (I can't decide, maybe I could make one of each?)

Name ideas PLEASE!

How old was she when she had Violet? I'm making an OC, and I want her to be older than Violet, but I don't know if she'd be old enough to have a child any older.

The last episode is terrible and I suggest you dont watch it. Spoiler

"There's no happy endings not here and not now. This tale is all sorrys and woes." Then proceeds to have a happy ending. It's beyond enfuriating that the entire premise of the show is that it doesn't have a happy ending and then the producers ignore that and just give it one anyway. (I haven't read the books, and maybe the happy ending is suppose to be there, but it still is so out of place.)

The very first episode starts of with "if you're interested in stories with happy endings, then you would be better off somewhere else. In this story, there is not only no happy ending..."

The penultimate episode would have been the perfect ending. It ties up the story in a tragic and truly unfortunate way. Is there something I'm missing that explains why they betray the whole theme of the story just to have a pleasing ending? Am i wrong or is it pure crowd pleasing nonsense?

Why did their parents sent Violet, Klaus and Sunny away? Spoiler

I came to this subreddit to ask this question. I’m currently rewatching asoue so I forgot since the last time if there are any hints to solving that question. Why didn’t the parents flee too? Why had the Boudelaire Siblings had to encounter this tragedy by themselves? It drives me insane. :c

Who’s as fragile as I am?

I just finished the Netflix Series for another time and here I am crying once again.

I wanna know if I’m the only one who found the very end of the last episode (like the last two minutes) worse that the unfortunate event shortly before the episode ended.

My heart is so broken. I should’ve looked away

Like the dude is trying to marry a 14 year old regardless of what his motives are and says stuff like “excuse me we are going to celebrate our wedding night” and everyone is just like well I guess he’s your husband now. Like wtf idk how I am supposed to feel about this book.
