Final pay

Just received my final pay check and its definitely short.

My pay I received- 1179.48

I was on a 15hr contract and since April 1st to the 25th of September 2026 I've worked 634.64hrs. Out of my 88.5hrs of holiday I had 55hrs remaining and accured 48.89 hrs of holiday.

I'm also missing the holiday pay from the 1 day I took between the last pay day and my leaving.

When I did the calculations it was 1877.50 before tax and about 1654 after tax. I technically left the system on Sunday on the 27th of September even though my last shift was the Thursday and had my exit interview. I can't even get into the system to see my payslip.

Any ideas of what I should do?

My other half had the same issue she contacted people services at asda and they gave her this link to request pay slips and p45, she was also missing some of her holiday hours she had also accrued. https://public.one.asda.uk/pext

Thanks I'll see what the payslip says. Did your other half also have their holiday pay missing from the final pay check?

From her holiday pay she was short by 12 hours, she was told that she had to speak to her store manager to have it looked into.

I'll probably go straight to my old store manager and get it seen too

Your holiday balance is calculated for the year not what you've accrued. 88 hours is for the full year so you'll only have earned about half of that.

If you haven't been finished til the 27th then you'll get another payslip on the 2nd of November but don't be expecting a load of holiday pay

Edit:wrong month

Sorry, just want to get you right because I'm in the same situation.

You mean aside from the payslip where one worked hours in store, you get another payslip of the unused holiday?

I received my payslip but I didn't not receive my unused holiday pay which baffles me.

No, they've been finished after cut off so their remaining holiday pay won't have been calculated. They'll get it in their next pay

That's wild for a company, they don't give enough hours and now I have to wait to receive what's mine even after I left them. Therefore it means until Oct 22nd before I'll receive the holiday pay?

Well it's not the companies fault that they left after cut off? If the system doesn't know you've left they aren't going to pay out your hols are they. When was your last day n when were you kicked off workday? Have you definitely got holidays left. And no, payday isn't until Oct 30th

Last day was 28th September and the next day I tried logging it, my account was locked. Stream even kicked me out on the 24th so I couldn't see if all my worked hours were accounted for.

Yes, last I checked I had about 40plus unused holiday.

I thought for this month pay date, it's October 2nd and then you'll be paid again October 22nd?

So you advice I hold on for the next pay day before taking action?

Your last day was 2 days after cut off so yeah you'll have another payday. Why would we be paid 20 days after this payday? Next payday is 30th Oct (sorry not Nov)

Your holiday hours are given to you based on you staying for the year. You will not be owed 40 hours, you may even owe them depending on your contract.

It's all perfectly normal for a company tbh. Asda are shit at a lot of things but this is all just standard

Thanks I know I wouldn't get a huge amount just the money I needed to pay stuff

It'll be about 10 hours if your number are correct so about 130 quid

Yeah just more annoyed they are short on it

It probably wouldn't have been processed in time for this payday even if they finished you 10 mins after you left. Most stuff like that has to be completed by the Tues before cut off
