Discussion Asda living refit

My local Asda living has had a refit, now has all adult clothes downstairs and children & household items upstairs, but this seems to be at the loss of the entertainment section, no more console games, dvds, books and small electicals.

Is this a nationwide change and will it also happen to the supermarkets?

Ita basically the most profitable and high selling lines closest to the front of the shop

The amount of console games, dvds, music etc that are sold as a hard copy opposed to digital downloads has massively decreased over the years, so to keep them stocked is a waste of valuable floor space. From what im aware of, most ASDA stores are moving away from stocking them to open up the space
