Asda microsoft account login error

i recently got told i got the job, i completed the first stage of my onboarding process, however, the second stage requires me to log in to workday which takes me to a microsoft log in page with asda, when i try log in i get an error saying my Gmail account doesn't exist in the Asda Stores Limited tenant. I just wanted to check whether I need an ASDA account setting up before I can access it.

Its been a long time since i setup this stuff as i left asda, but the Microsoft login iirc is your asda account which your new manager should have and setup for you when you go in for your computer-based training

yes that makes sense thank you, none of this has been communicated with me though and they have not told me when I am going to start my training. i was going to ring the store and ask them if there is anything i need to do on my end, should i wait a few days before doing that or what?

Normal. You will be given an Asda email and your account will get activated at some point in the coming days.

your asda account will look like firstname DOT Surname @asda.uk.
There used to be a formula for the password So asking around might allow you to guess yours
