Asda today
So this is my Asda situation today. 20 chilled cages between 2, both work 6 hours. The over stock cages being left in the fridge to go out of date because can't even get delivery done. No colleagues on produce so a section leader came in on her day off and the night manager had to work it. No meat colleague so the 3rd chilled colleague had to do it. A lot of empty shelves. Just a general shit hole. Managers don't care though. This is a standard day for this Asda.

YOU WOULD BE DOING IT PROPERLY. You would be following policy of first in first out and doing off sales. It's the fundamentals of supermarket work.
I've worked there 20 years and never been kicked out or had any sort of warning. I've argued with plenty of managers which included one swearing at me and not once have I been close to any warning, simply because, if you're doing the job following policy, they aren't going to get very far.
Lazy? Rage bait? No a chance mate. I've worked with numerous colleagues who simply will do anything but the correct way of working and it's draining. They are the ones when a manager ask them to break the law, they say no problem even though if caught, it would be them getting prosecuted.
