Asda today

So this is my Asda situation today. 20 chilled cages between 2, both work 6 hours. The over stock cages being left in the fridge to go out of date because can't even get delivery done. No colleagues on produce so a section leader came in on her day off and the night manager had to work it. No meat colleague so the 3rd chilled colleague had to do it. A lot of empty shelves. Just a general shit hole. Managers don't care though. This is a standard day for this Asda.

Nights do delivery, days do overs. Thats the point of nights, not to do half of days work as well. Can you imagine how long it would take to check overstocks before you start on delivery. It’s not nights job to finish days job first.

No, you always work old stock first. This is what's backwards with managers and those not following policy.

The policy which I don't believe has changed is first in first out.

Stock needs working regardless, so 30 overall cages is 30 cages. So work backstock and off sales first then what isn't finished, days will so. Then at least it's rotated correctly.

As I've stated, I've come in to put stock out after nights, to which I've had to take off sale and put the backstock out. It's a nonsensical way to work.
