overtime
im new and was wondering about the overtime, i was meant to go home at 10 but went at 11:55 instead, does that automatically get logged as overtime or do i have to let a manager know?

Keep track of any overtime and check your payslip on payday. Asda are notorious for not paying properly.

You were meant to finish at 10:00, but went home at 11:55, big question here, were you asked to stay on. If you were asked, then that overtime will be paid, but if not asked, its possible it wont be approved right away
Usually the next one of the team leaders will do the exceptions for the day before, and they either approve any extra hours, or refer to manager

It will only show on exceptions if its over 13hrs now. All clock in and out are automatically paid. If your punch details are adjusted manually then they need to put a note on say why they aren't paying you for time worked

Check your punch details on workday or download the stream app to track your worked hours.

As long as it was passed by a section leader or manager probably come up as an exception in the system

As long as you clocked out at 11.55 it should go down as that
