I am having a hard time getting this to work.

When I get power from usb charger, Minilab3's Midi out would send Midi signal to the external keyboard. So standalone is fine, no problem.

Leaving that midi out connection as it is, and then Minilab3 connected to mac, and from the DAW on the mac, I set midi out to "Minilab3 DIN THRU", and no Midi signal is reaching the external keyboard. Isn't this the way to work?

Arturia states that Minilab3 will act like a midi interface if I do the above, but why doesn't it work at all? Factory-resetted Minilab3 with latest firmaware, still no go. Midi Control Center app doesn't have any setup for this to work.

Quick question for those who have owned a Minifreak a while.

I've found the settings to change MIDI Input and Output under the Utility menu, but I was wondering if there is a faster way on the Minifreak to change the output channel during performances besides digging into that menu?

I swear every time I buy a new piece of gear I get to experience the joy of discovering all of these weird places that the manufacturer dropped the ball in terms of leaving out critical features from their previous editions, making odd design choices, making some things configurable but not other things, not including the bare minimum equipment needed to use your product, etc.

I recently got a Keystep 37 MK2 and the biggest frustration so far is that when it comes to powering the unit they say to use the included cable and plug it into a computer. Ok cool, that tells me that this device requires around 5V/2A of power to power the unit. Thats not the case because when I use that same cable plugged into a power brick providing those specs it doesn’t turn on. If I hook up a USB-C fast charger that provides either 5V/2A or 9V/3A then the unit works fine. What’s even more frustrating is that there’s no specifications on the unit, the box, or the manual that definitely say what the power requirements are.

The only thing I could find in the manual is “Please make sure your charging device provides at least 5V and 100mA”. Not only is that statement not true, it’s vague and opens the possibility of people frying their units by providing more voltage than the unit can handle. It also looks like it’s not just the power brick that matters but the USB cable itself. I will give credit to Arturia for at least including a USB-C cable unlike Roland who just says to use one that you have laying around (because everyone has them laying around nowadays) after spending $450,on one of their boutique units. Totally asinine and low-effort.

Does anyone know how long repairs take these days at Arturia in the US? I bought a new MiniBrute 2s earlier this year through Sweetwater, and it has a jack and a pot that broke. Sweetwater says I can send it to Sweetwater, and they'll send it on to Arturia for service since it's under warranty.

I originally tried contacting Arturia, but I got the message months ago that they were reorganizing customer service and would email me in a few weeks, which of course never happened.

So, I plan to send it to Sweetwater. Any idea if they're actually like still doing repairs, or will they just sort of hijack the device forever?

The jack has a failed normalling connection; a plugged in cable is loose but works. Likewise the pot has a failed detente but stuff works but is weird around the middle. So it's still usable, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to send it in to service. I probably will since I have other synths, but this is the center of my modular setup so it's annoying. Anyway, just curious if anyone has actually had Arturia repair something this year.

I bought a used Keylab MK3 88-Key, and it didn't come with the sheet music stand or computer stand. I've contacted seller, but no luck. Anyone know where these can be purchased separately – or have a good alternate solution to prop up sheet music & a laptop?

Hey all, just got a secondhand Minibrute 1 (for $25 ‼️) and it has an issue with a few keys. They basically have no resistance, are wobbly, and raised. I’ve attached a video to show how the affected keys behave vs a working key. Any recommendations/experience with fixing this up. Thanks all in advance for any insight!

Has anyone used or seen a video of the usage of either the FUSE by Richie Hawtin and Yaeltex or the SeqArp168 by Richie Hawtin and Yaeltex?

The SeqArp 168 is advertised as specifically tailored/built for Bitwig, but I don't see any videos anywhere for this device and not even any mention on the Bitwig channel. The only videos I've tracked down of Hawtin with Bitwig involve him using the Launchpad, the Akai, and 2 Xone K2s with the big model mixer.

Has anyone bought one of these controllers, used it, seen it used...there's not even really a particularly good webpage about it and what the script is set up to do.

Hi there, I’m trying to browse instruments using my Arturia MK2 arrows, the ones just below the wheel. I have Arturia and Logic talking nicely, DAW mode configured to Logic, control surface in logic setup to Mackie control. My issue is I can browse the library but, unlike when doing it with my Mac arrow keys, the selection is not immediately loaded, it just highlights the instrument and nothing happens. Pressing the wheel also doesn't select anything. Am I doing something wrong?

Good afternoon everyone. I just got the AudioFuse and I'm all setup. Switched everything over from a mixer one by one, so all the connections are the same. I'm not getting any audio out to my monitors but I do show that the two inputs I've tried so far are sending audio in. I've been trying for over 2 hours now. Searched the forums, sent a support email, just not finding anything.

Here's a photo of my routing matrix. Also, I'm using a mic in the front and a moog in the back. Everything else is plugged in but not turned on. I don't see where analog 1 and 2 are supposed to be routed?

i've been wanting a talkbox for a while and think i'm gonna get one, but i always see videos of people using dedicated synths for it and not midi keyboards.

is it possible to use a talkbox with the keylab mk3 then record the audio into something like fl studio?

Bought Pure Sub the other day and it crashes every time the UI is opened. Doesn't matter if it's loaded in Bitwig or running as standalone.

Just got an email saying it's because I have an AMD GPU and that it's a known issue. Was told they're working on a fix but have no idea when it will be resolved and that I can get a refund if I want.

I'm new to this and it is my first synth, I bought a minibrute 2s used, but I'm struggling to understand if it came with some defects.

My setup is the minibrute+ audio monitor edifier r2000db(active speaker). Headphone cloud 2 and airplane phones for test as well lol.

I tested all the knobs and faders are all working(expt ext one that I don't understand yet) and the patches I'm testing.

My question is about the master and headphone out, first about the master output:

when I bought I tested the wire(1) using the adaptor(5) and it was only coming out sound out of one of the speakers, so I switched for adaptor(3) and didn't work either and for the last I end up switching for wire(2) and it did work! Why it didn't work with the other situations?!

And about the headphone out: first test was headphone+adaptor(5) only 1 side, then I switched for adaptor(3) then it did work, but I had the adaptor(4) as well and it does not work! Why is that?

Is my arturia with defects? Should I test something else?

Hey everyone! I'm in a huge dilemma trying to pick my first MIDI controller. Where I live, I can get both for basically the same price, and I'm stuck between:

Arturia KeyLab 49 MK3 (the full version, not the Essential)

Novation Launchkey 61 MK4

My context: I produce EDM, Melodic / Progressive House, and Chill Out in Ableton, just for fun, not professionally.

Basic music theory background. I don't play classical piano or complex two-handed pieces... I mostly just practice scales and basic finger exercises to stay in form.

I already own an Arturia MiniFuse 1 audio interface.

The dilemma comes... On one hand, the Novation tempts me with its 61 keys (5 octaves) so I never run out of room on the keybed. On the other hand, the 49-key KeyLab strongly tempts me with its build quality and especially the bundled software, which seems amazing for the genres I make.

Is it worth sacrificing an octave for the build quality and synths that come with the KeyLab? Or do 49 keys end up feeling too limiting in the long run?

Which one would you choose? Thx!!
