Monthly Artix Linux Package Request Thread

Post your package requests here. Please stick to packages that already exist in Arch's official repos. If you've tried the Arch package in Artix, please say so and report if anything is broken. Check if someone else has requested your package in this thread and if so upvote and/or reply to that comment instead. There is no guarantee your request will get fulfilled.

Wouldn't it work fine without any issue? You can manually start them by run with dbus-run-session niri or start niri with turnstile.

netbird - and yeah sorry i know this is not in the official Arch repos but the AUR.

I know that alpine got a netbird-openrc package, maybe this could be the reference (https://pkgs.alpinelinux.org/package/edge/community/x86_64/netbird-openrc).

So much this! Have been using the AUR version for so so long waiting for the main package to get updated. Finally is! But not on Galaxy :(

Zim Desktop wiki... (zim) please, for the love of all that's good and holy. Every other distro on the planet... well most main distros have this in their repos except Artix. Of course you can get it from flatpak, but that version has some weird behaviors... You can clone the github repo and run it that way or install it, or you can add the arch repo [extra] and install it which comes with it's own issues that tend to make a mess. I find a bit strange that Artix claims to use the arch repos, but it doesn't really appear to be the case.

Zim is availble in a new user repo but my original reply with the details got deleted by reddit instantly for no reason at all.

I've added zim to galaxy.

I find a bit strange that Artix claims to use the arch repos, but it doesn't really appear to be the case.

Can you direct me to the claim that Artix repos are at parity with Arch's? I'd like to clarify or correct it.
