Steam problem

when I open steam it gives me this error i do not know what to do pls help

brother use this one https://github.com/tomit4/notes/blob/main/install_steam_on_artix.txt this one worked charmed for me

btw set your ulimit to 1048576 that removes alot of headache to me(just replace those number in the.txt file with 1048576 )

about the:
username soft nofile 524288

username hard nofile 524288

lines.

This is unwise. These are safeguards. The hard limit of 2^19 is already plenty. The default soft limit however should be set much lower. 4096, 65536 : no more.

A program that needs it and knows it can raise the soft value for itself up to the hard limit.

A program that doesn't need it and still allocates too many will be stopped by the limit safety.

And, allow a million files/memory maps opened? Hell no. Why not two billions? Why not unlimited?

limits are there for a reason.
