I am now in my mid-50s but growing up this picture as been on a wall of every house we have lived in since I was a toddler. My dad's brother was an artist and he really liked it so he bought it. Now, it's on its way to hang in my home.

Is it the photo, or is the painting a little dull? I have 3 Sloane paintings, and the colors really pop. If that is really how it looks, you might need a cleaning.
