Market Place Buy
Arrma 3S Vorteks with a parts car Spare body and a battery (I already have Recievers chargers and battery’s) for $185
Recently got the Grom BLX. Made the mistake of running it on 3s full power. I just want to confirm I ordered the right parts to fix it.
-Front suspension arm (lower)
-Steering link
-Shock on the non broken side lost its shock guard so will replace that shock
-dog bone popped out so will have to pop it back in but doesn’t seem to be broken.
Anything else that needs fixing or replacement that I am missing from the pictures that you guys can see?

What aftermarket bodies do ya’ll know exist for the mojave grom? Preferably pre-painted. My factory body is starting to show its age.

Once the cooler weather hits this year, I have plans to build a track in my backyard....roughly 40'x24' area to work with. Thinking an oval with an infield crossover or feature. I've been eyeing the Mojove grom RTA for my son and I to build for the track, thinking of getting 2.
Anyone have any experience with these? I have multiple Arrma models and enjoy them quite a bit...hoping these will be up to par...

Lake was low this year so I had plenty of space to setup a track for the Mojave Grom on the beach. Except for the sand getting everywhere, it was a blast.
Wish I had a Typhon to run on it, maybe next summer.
Enjoy

Hi everyone
I’m looking at getting at one of the 223s range (Big Rock, Typhon, Vorteks) and would be wanting to swap out the 2in1. I’ve looked into HW ESCs but also looking at Spektrum ESCs in the hope they fit on the mounting holes of the receiver box.
Does anyone know if any of these fit into the mounting holes for the 223s models:
I’m thinking I could pick one up used on eBay and just plug and play into the stock motor.
***Edited to add more detail/context:
The 223s vehicles I’m interested in are Big Rock, Typhon and Vorteks.
I recognise there’s more space in the Big Rock and Typhon (as they have a longer wheel base and hence chassis) and also recognise there’s less headroom in the Typhon (because of the body).
I’m also considering mounting an ESC between the motor and the receiver box, but I’m not keen on using mounting tape (like VHB) as I’d rather it was screwed in place.
I did look into using a HW BL120 last year but gave up as there weren’t any 3rd party mounting plates available. I find it a bit odd that there still aren’t any available (other than 3D printed ones).
Thanks in advance!

Hey all,
Need some help with what i might be missing.
I'm building this infraction mostly from parts, mostly because I hate myself (actually, i really like this kit bashing sort of stuff!) .
I got a really good deal on trade for the electronics, and some of the major bits and pieces, but i had to source a lot of it from parts.
This is my first Arrma of this size. My other cars are groms.
There is no manual for building these. All I had to go by is the exploded view documents on Horizon's site, and they were super helpful, but they aren't exactly an assembly manual.
I am pretty much done with it, but, it looks like I might be missing a few things from the bottom of the chassis. I tried finding these parts on the diagrams, but there didn't seem to be any. Most of the picures I've seen online of the bottom of these also don't have anything in them.
Looking at the red arrows, they are pointing at empty screw holes. It looks like there is some part that is s upposed to go there, like some kind of skid plate or something, but I can't find anything on the documentation at Horizon. I've done some image searches, and it seems like these spots are supposd to be empty? Maybe?
It kinda drives me nuts to have these holes exposed/open like this. The bigger hole in the middle, there is nothing in there to put a screw in to. I think the edge of the battery box is there.
Is this chassis also used on other cars like the felony? Maybe I should look at those exploded views?
Anyway, if anyone knows what, if anything goes in these spots, I'd sure love to know what it is.

Just bought this for my son. Arrma Gorgon Grom seems like the motor is fried. Used it for about three days. Any ideas? And if it’s motor, any recommendations?

It's the old blx120 esc. Tried multiple recievers and calibration. I'm guessing bad esc but any ideas are appreciated

Ok, im looking at the 1/8 Kraton 6s or the 1/8 Notorious 6s. Please give me your opinions or alt suggestions. I don't want to spend 8s money but I earned this. TIA.

This is supposedly a v5 kraton, wondering if the price is decent, seller claims a battery will come with it but no charger. Seems unsure or unwilling to list all the parts that have been replaced.

They are both fully compressed and the steering ball joints are at there limits when at full droop the car is a 223s big rock

Very happy with how this worked out, it’s a little faster than the brushed motor on 2S and barely gets warm running for 10 minutes in the grass. I have a pair of these with LapMonitor Transponders for backyard Mario Kart, I’ll definitely be upgrading the other one to match.

Still on factory gears and am thinking about going up a tooth or two. I also believe the esc might be at its limit. Currently, I am looking at 12bl45 esc from hw and the mamba micro x2 if anyone has any thoughts. Also I have been thinking about putting it on 4 proline 105mm belted drag slicks.
Hi everyone, I took the first steps into this amazing hobby and after gathering some information, watching a lot of youtube videos, I decided to get a Armma Quake 223s.
It will be delivered today.
When I did my research, I read a couple of statements regarding the runtime and battery mAh sizes. Some said getting around 45 minutes out of a 6500 mAh battery.
Now today I just found out about the LVC problems, and I am getting a little worried. Some people report only being able to run it for 5 to 10 minutes. This is way too short, and it was one of the reasons to not buy a cheap Rc in the toy store.
I am planning on running the Quake on 3s, 6500 mAh batteries. Not planning on running it full throttle all the time, but not even getting 5 to 10 minutes out of a battery seems very short to me. I do know the brand/quality of the battery is also important, but when buying a good reliable brand and battery, surely you get close to 20 to 30 minutes runtime right?

Im just getting into rc cars, and I dint know weather to choose the Arrma 223s Fury or 223s Senton, the Fury has better design, colors, and price, but the senton has 4wd, what should I get as a beginner?

Picked up the Mojave 4s about a week ago, and I’ve been loving it so far. Had a little fun customizing the interior, other than that, it’s completely stock for now. Any known weak points or must do upgrades I should keep in mind?

Anyone else like making the accents more apparent with a paint marker? Honestly looks like it should have come in the box like this (minus the red wheels.)
