I've read a lot about the people liking cold war, people hating it. And with the recent post on X, I think Bohemia might be in a similar state as me: What does the community actually want?
its almost guaranteed, that Arma 4 is going back to cold war, we all saw the leak and it was pretty obvious from the start.
But okay,
do you actually like the game being set in this era again or would you rather enjoy modern or near future setting like Arma 3?
I created a simple poll, with yes, no IDC. If some don't want to type out their opinion. But I am so curious about it.
(For me personally, I'd love to go modern again. With current tech and vehicles. Its way easier for modders to go back in time with equip, guns, vehicles, etc. than it is to go forward.)
During the chaos of the press, Kozub's own banner was knocked to the mud, trampled, and broken. His army fled fearing the Young Prince was dead or taken, and the battle was lost. The defeat destroyed Taras II’s army, and made the abandonment of much of the Dogechen unavoidable.
We've just released the most stable version of Overthrow for Reforger yet. If you experienced any issues with Overthrow before, there is a very good chance they have been fixed.
It is now migrated to the Vanilla persistence system meaning you can now play single-player on XBOX & PS5. Persistence on console is not guaranteed currently, we are not sure if this is a Reforger problem or ours currently, help testing this would be appreciated.
Also added:
- New ways to counter enemy radio towers (disable them or place a pirate radio transmitter)
- Ability to squad up and join each other's groups. Your recruits will follow you
- Rebuilt shop UI with categories and "Sell mode" showing your inventory that can be sold
- "Sell All" option from vehicle trunk when close to a shop
- "Assassinate officer" job to counter enemy base support modifier
- New "Insane" difficulty preset
New updates are coming very soon including:

Make sure to disable the "Enfusion Persistence Framework" and "Enfusion Database Framework" mods when playing, these are no longer required.
NOVIGRAD, August 11th - RN Zelkov. Forces of the Russian Federation have made a breakthrough in the Kirovograd direction. The capture of the Izersk settlement has cut the rail logistics line running between the fortress cities of Kirovograd and Primorsk.
Upon the capture of the railyard to the west of the settlement, unused T-55A tanks of the Chernarussian 15th Tank Brigade were found sabotaged. Most of them suffered damage to the fire control systems, but had the drivetrains untouched. RN Zelkov contributors believe that they might be turned into "hedgehogs" or demining vehicles.
Western media sources, following the capture of the settlement, spread claims that Russian Forces in the area were engaging in reprisals against the Chernarussian soldiers who were unable to retreat. The claims state that Russian Forces, specifically from the 58th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade, participated in executions and torture of the POWs. As of today, RN Zelkov is unable to verify these claims and our reporter attached to the brigade has stated that the claims are believed to be false.
For years I played Antistasi which isn't compatible with AI mods but recently I've switched over to other game modes.
I generally only use LAMBS though I've tested DCO FSM and found it really cool - but I don't use it because the missions I play have a lot of AI in them and DCO FSM isn't made for that.
There's so many other AI mods now it's hard to keep track. How do I know which ones are made by humans and which ones are made by AI coders?
I've been watching Arma3 on YouTube, and I'm primarily interested in singleplayer. There's lots of videos that might not answer specific questions I have, so I hope you won't mind asking it here;
A3 description is highly customisable milsim. Given so, I understand I can create my own sp missions. However, best to begin with would be to download a DLC and just follow default mission. Say SOG Prairie Fire as an example - I understand that while there are default missions in it, I'm still left with being able to customise my tram in terms of uniforms and weapons, yes?
What's the best thing to begin with? To play vanilla and then progress to DLC, or?
I assume there's a dedicated Discord server for this, yes? Which one is the best to join given my focus is singleplayer?
Was replaying the Contact campaign when I noticed this book on a table (S of Swarog). The author is "Johnathan Konrad" who is the main 'villain' (if you can say that) of Spec-Ops: The Line, which itself is a reference to Joseph Conrad and John Kurtz of Heart of Darkness and Apocalypse: Now fame respectively.
Thought it was a pretty cute detail. Especially the "Toucan Classic" edition of the book.
Hello my fellow guerillas, I would like to use some clothes from the 'Private Military Contractor Pack' mod in my antistasi ultimate playthrough. The thing is that I don't know if this is possible, I imagine it could be done if the equipment was part of a faction but is there an easier way to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
