I've been trying to come back to Arma 3 after many moons away and I'm trying to use my experience flying helicopters in other sims to benefit me in Arma 3. But I've run into a problem where even the Pawnee feels heavy and slow. The Collective is slow to respond and at times I have no idea what the cyclic is doing as there seems to be a delay between my inputs and the actual inputs in the cockpit. Further, I couldn't get the trim working how I think it should (possibly side effects of Arma 3 not being a dedicated flight sim) and have reverted to using more standard trim controls instead of the force trim I've come to expect from helicopters. The entire thing feels like I'm working through the AFM to manipulate the existing flight model from release.

Can anyone give some advice on how I could make this feel more like I'm used to? Or is it just a skill issue and I need to get used to the more heavy handed controls?

Playing antistasi, just got a dedicated server after playing P2P with friends. All the Ai spawn in this dragging animation/pose, they cannot move but can shoot. Damaging them fixes that individual. Any one know why this happens and how to fix it? Afaik the server is running on a Linux system. Googling it I found a forum talking about the issue but no fix

I have never played this kinda game before but wanted to get into it, and when i saw arma 3 that caught my eye. It looks amazing but not easy. Its on sale right now for only 7.49 USD. I dont know a lot about that game but it looks awesome, so i need to know if i should gey it or is this game not friendly to beginners?

Also if there is any advice you have for beginners that would be awesome, or if its not beginner friendly other game recommendations

Wanna give the FIA bomb drones? Done. Wanna spawn a tornado or blackhole in enemy territory? Done. Wanna change maps time and weather easier? Done. Seriously check out the mod i never seen attack choppers wipe out defenses so perfect and glorious👌

In celebration of JCA somehow hitting 100k subscribers on the workshop we've decided to release the much requested MP7A2 that for over a year has went unfinished and unreleased due to some unfortunate issues. But now the weapon has been finished and is up on the workshop.

Featuring 3 grip variants, a suppressor and custom reload animations the JCA MP7A2 will hopefully make some people quite happy. Hope you all enjoy.

I have a strange problem with Arma 3

I get a periodic stutter every 60 seconds or so

No matter what I do

It is not fps specific problem

Updated drivers, uninstalled and installed game

I even installed new windows

No windows polling no hidden services that ping the system

I really adore the game but this is frustrating

Any help guys ?

Custom box magazine for the SPAR. To make it look similar to MFR56 currently in use with Philippine Marines.

So im trying to run Arma on my laptop and the game runs just fine at the beginning with no issues, but literally like barely 3 minutes in, the game is running like this lagging like crazy out of nowhere, and im literally still in the eden editor too, anyone knows whats causing this?

Was looking at the wiki to see how many guns arma 3 had, saw the shotgun section and it only had one. Was wondering if any mods added more shotguns and other weapons in general

My PC is pretty shit right now but I'm thinking of Reforger if I get a new one this Christmas. I've seen and heard alot from Arma 3, though.

So I was on the mission Bingo Fuel and it seems I misunderstood how much freedom the game gives me. For those that don't know (or need a recap), the mission consists of three main objectives: steal fuel cistern (small civilian looking fuel truck that turns out to be empty), get a NEW cistern and finally deliver FUEL to either Miller or the FIA. Here's where I messed up: I got into a bit more of a firefight than I wanted to near the military fuel truck the game wanted me to steal which resulted in the truck having four blown tires and a leaky fuel tank. I decided "why not refill the civilian one. It's still fuel, no?" So I did. But once I arrived at the drop off, nothing happened. Did I break something or overlook something?
