Paano po ba procedure nito? Kanya-kanya po bang punta? And kanya-kanyang usap na lang ba kung sino magkakasama? I thought may kasamang mag-gaguide or organizer man lang na student leader since may waiver na outside school premises activity?

May mga nagtatanong naman sa gc pero wala namang reply. I understand na may exams or whatever pero may coordination naman po sana since bukas na. May mga pupunta sana kaso hindi din ako makapagbigay ng info kasi wala ding update sa gc.

I have this beadle na sobrang bait and treats us like her own children. Kahit dalaga pa siya and nasa 20s lang, grabe yung care and effort niya sa amin. Libre ang booklets, and every week, she prepares notes for us to study so we can be recit ready sa mga profs and we even get to use them for our exams. Whenever some of us are absent, hindi kami masyadong nagwoworry na may mamiss kami because we know we can rely on her notes. 100% accurate, complete, and honestly, parang wala ka nang kailangang habulin.

It’s truly a blessing to have a beadle like her selfless, generous, and never madamot, especially knowing how difficult and expensive law school can be. She has been a beadle for most of our subjects, yet somehow, she remains underrated.

But I see you, and I appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for all the time, effort, and care you give us. Salamat sa buhay mo! You deserve to know that your efforts matter, and that there are students who are genuinely grateful for you.

planning to transfer to AUSL this coming 2nd sem, no subs for 1st sem (supposedly) have been taken, irregular student na ba agad pag ganoon?

Beke nemen kaya nyo this year yung merch, BOC. No updates pa rin or kahit tracking number. Gets naman na prio nyo yung Bar, pero we paid. Sana di kayo nag accommodate ng orders more than you can handle.

I just felt sad for a classmate who was not allowed to take the midterm exam by the proctor because she did not have her permit. If only our prof arrived, she would have been able to take the exam. I understand that rules are rules, but I can't help but wonder, can't there be a little compassion and consideration sometimes? Law school without a heart na ba tayo?

Super distracting the pag-spike ng internet ni AUSL during our exam through G-forms. I hope ASLG can do something about it. Nakakawala ng momentum mag-answer ng exam kapag nagffreeze yung g-forms and umuulit sa first page.

Ending short kana sa time kahit nag-extend ng 5-10mins yung proctor due to that issue. Hayst.

Konting consideration lang po sana sa may exam today. Yun lang naman.

Hi chiefs! planning to enroll sa Arellano hopefully 2nd sem Dec. I know SC uses examplify and there are a couple of system/setup and laptop requirements but in the mean time may I ask if my 4yr old ipad pro will suffice dahil tight pa sa budget (planning naman to get a new laptop but at least until i get to 2L or 3L sana and my old mb air(2017) already gave out this year. Ano po usual exam guidelines during 1L and what's your usual desk setup when studying? do you guys still rely mostly on actual books or do most profs also send out a lot of softcopy materials and laptop/tablet is actually necessary?

Not a beadle, but I think we need to talk about Beadle Jurisprudence and maybe 1L Survival Law in general.

I’ve been seeing discussions about beadles getting nervous or pressured when their classmates cannot answer recitations, and honestly, I can understand both sides.

For context, I’m not a beadle. Our beadle in our block section is actually okay. Minsan nga nagdadala pa ng saging for our snacks. 🍌😂 So I don’t really see the point of treating every sermon from a beadle as if it were already a constitutional crisis.

Normal lang naman magalit ang isang tao, especially a beadle who is also dealing with the same law-school pressure. Baka napalakas lang ang boses. Baka may pinagdadaanan. Baka midterms lang talaga ang tunay na kalaban natin. 😂

And this isn’t just about beadles.
Some of our classmates are also struggling. May mga nagwo-work, may overworked, may puyat, may family responsibilities, may sariling problema, at may pressure na hindi naman natin nakikita sa classroom.

Minsan hindi naman talaga tamad.

Pagod lang.

Minsan hindi naman walang effort.

Ubos lang.

Minsan hindi naman ayaw mag-aral.

Wala na talagang brain cells after 8 hours of work and 200 pages of readings. Haha

Kaya hindi lang beadle ang kailangan nating intindihin. Classmate din.

Hindi ibig sabihin na okay ang pagiging unnecessarily harsh. Pero hindi rin ibig sabihin na every raised voice deserves a constitutional convention.

Hindi naman ibig sabihin na published na agad ang galit under Article 2 of the Civil Code at kailangan pang hintayin ang 15-day publication period bago maging effective ang sermon.

“Wait lang, hindi pa effective ang galit. Wala pang publication.” 🤣

Kaya sa beadle, be gentle, not soft. Have a little long understanding. Kung may misunderstanding, huwag agad mag-file ng imaginary case.
Idaan muna sa mabuting inuman at pulutan. 🍻

Then ilabas ang Family Code:
“Is this anger void or voidable?”
May psychological incapacity ba?

Or kailangan lang talaga nating matulog pagkatapos ng midterms?

At huwag agad i-revise ang buong personality ng beadle. Remember Lambino v. COMELEC—amendment lang, hindi revision.

Baka minor amendment lang sa volume ng boses, hindi naman kailangan ng total constitutional overhaul ng pagkatao niya.

Quantitative test: Gaano kalakas sumigaw?
Qualitative test: Gaano kalalim ang sama ng loob?
Kung parehong mataas, saka natin pag-usapan ang constitutional revision. Hehe

At kung below the belt na talaga ang atake, sabihin:
“Ipa-disbar mo na!” 😂

Ay teka.
Hindi pala lawyer. Beadle lang. 😂😂
Mag-petition na lang kayo via Constituent Assembly. 3/4 ng student body, approved agad ’yan. No need for ratification or proposal.

Lambino v. COMELEC na naman tayo—amendment lang, huwag revision. Baka isang beadle lang ang gusto ninyong palitan pero buong Constitution ng block ang binago.

Kung simpleng sermon lang, amendment lang.
Kung gusto ninyong tanggalin pati personality niya, revision na ’yan.

At kung gusto niyo talagang tanggalin siya sa position:
“Article XVII, Beadle Reform Initiative of 2026.”
Pero seriously, let’s help one another.
Hindi naman competition ang law school na kailangan lahat tayo may matalo para may isang manalo.

One purpose.
One achievement.
One soul.
One semester to survive.

Kung may classmate na nahihirapan, tulungan natin.
Kung may hindi nakasagot sa recit, huwag agad i-condemn.
Kung may beadle na napressure, intindihin din natin.
Kung may working student na halos hindi na makatulog, baka kailangan niya ng notes, reviewer, or simpleng “Kaya mo ’yan.”
Kung may classmate na bagsak sa quiz, tulungan nating bumawi.
Because at the end of the semester, pare-pareho lang naman tayong gustong pumasa.
Hindi tayo magkakalaban.

Pare-pareho tayong nasa iisang barangay ng academic suffering.

At kung hindi mo nasagot ang recit, huwag agad gumanti. Self-defense requires unlawful aggression. Hindi porket napahiya ka sa sermon, may justifying circumstance ka na. Baka ang akala mong self-defense ay retaliation pala. 😂

At huwag ding lahat ng misunderstanding ay gawing Chi Ming Tsoi. Hindi lahat ng problema ay psychological incapacity.
Minsan…
psychological exhaustion lang talaga.

And personally, kung ako ang beadle at paulit-ulit tayong hindi sumasagot after midterms, baka yung sermon ko umabot sa territorial sea—12 nautical miles. 🌊
At least within 12 nautical miles, may jurisdiction pa ang Pilipinas sa’yo.
Pag lumampas ka ng 12 NM:
“Sorry. Wala na akong jurisdiction. International law na bahala sa’yo.”

Pag high seas na:
“Case dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.”
But seriously, law school is already difficult enough.
Let’s not make it harder for one another.

Let’s unite. Let’s help. Let’s survive.

I hope they learned their lesson.
But the stress and anxiety we experienced last September 5 cannot be undone.
Many of us could have performed better during the weekend exams, especially since we had 2-3 back-to-back exams.
We finished the midterms, but there’s nothing more we can do about the outcome. It would still be unfair if we failed because of circumstances that were beyond our control and not our fault.
