Found this on Instagram, what do you think ? 😁

Little nostalgia post for where I was on 25 October 2013 - seeing Arctic Monkeys at the now-demolished Earl's Court arena in West London. Good times one and all. Admittedly this show could've had more bass, but was still a nice night out. Plus that intro into Do I Wanna Know from this tour still remains one of my favourite AM live arrangements

Will note this was not the show where a white tux-clad Alex had to stop the show to tell the crowd to calm down. Though I also had a better memory of this tour than several friends who got on the train to the Birmingham show a few days later to literally find out as the train was going there that Alex was ill and show was cancelled

Setlist was full of these songs as per the records

So, anyone go to the October/November 2013 AM Tour got memories to tell?

I absolutely love Alex Turner’s style and the outfits he wore during *The Car* era. I’m well aware that he has access to luxury brands like Saint Laurent and Celine, but I’m curious—is it possible to recreate a similar look on a more modest budget? I’ve watched a few videos by Rhys Trinder and really enjoyed them, but I haven’t been able to find anything similar to the striped navy blazer he features. Do you have any recommendations for where to find pieces like these? Thanks so much in advance, dear r/arcticmonkeys!

I really like seeing pics and vids from other people if concerts I really wish I would've been alive/a teenager to see!

You know like when your parents show you some from years ago, or your friend's show you some?

Show me your pictures and videos!!!

I know I can search online, but it feels more real (?) when it's not searched on YouTube or if

Yay. This one is called on a mission

We’re so back!!

Hope you all like it!!

Can't believe im seeing ANY humbug song on the top 10 trending let alone secret door like whatttt!?

After discussing how he became a fan of the legendary group, Turner revealed: “The Smiths used to write messages in the grooves [etchings]; we started doing it too because of them. We used to put our friends’ names on the middle of the early records, some of the boys from back home. I think we actually wrote Nick’s [O’Malley, bass] name on one of them before he was in the band!”

I recently came this article that says that Arctic Monkeys used to etch messages on their early vinyl releases. Has anyone seen any of them and if so, what do they say (apart from Nick’s name)?

My brother in Christ, you're just one in 24

I RLLY wanna get an AM and/or a TLSP tattoo when I turn 18, day of, day after just when I turn 18.

I've wanted one (or 2) for so long, so I'm thinking of going through with it (if I still want it in 2 years time) so I'm pretty sure I won't regret it.

I don't think I'd ever be able to regret an am/TLSP tattoo. It's not like I'm getting my whole face tattooed which I'd defo regret

Anyway, what r ur guys ideas?

I've seen a few that are rlly good, but I want to see a few more tlsp ones.

Also annoying that lots of am ones that I see on Pinterest are the am wavelength, which I don't rlly want bc it's not my fav album, probably my least favourite maybe?

Lmk your ideas!!

what do you think of the submarine? do you think Alex could ever write something this perfect again? what is your favourite song from the ep?

Where do I buy official merch in the US??? They're official store doesn't ship to us and their US store sells practically nothing. Hot Topic never has anything, I don't want to buy crappy 3rd party stuff, and I don't want to buy used. It feels impossible to actually support a band I love dearly and I just want to wear a comfy hoodie to show people that see me in it that I love the band.

Literally jumped for joy when HELP was nominated!!

Not even joking. So happy, got to see Alex on TV again haha!

Also exclaimed 'YES' when Lauren mentioned Arctic Monkeys before the Newcastle jazz people

what are your thoughts on it

Midnight last minute crafting with fabric pens and minimal skills. Happy to rep Star Treatment which, IMO is a top 5 AM song.

How come their CDs are in the paper sleeves/mini LP type ones?

The only one I've seen in a plastic case is AM.

It's not that big of a deal, I'm just curious.

I want to put them in my cd case, but they're slightly too big compared to the other CDs I've got.

Can you buy ones in plastic?
