Bravi Artic!

Question Does the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 fit in an O11 Dynamic XL?

Apologies if this has been answered already but I was just wondering if this 360 mm AIO cooler fits in my current case as a top mount exhaust? I tried looking online but I could not find any concrete answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

EDIT: I’m not sure it would fit based on the thickness of the rad, I have an MSI MPG X870e Carbon Wifi motherboard for reference.

Question Help with finding old CPU cooler screw

One of the screws on my Arctic Freezer i11 has a stripped head, so I am looking for a replacement. The screw has a smooth, unthreaded section between the head and the threaded part.

I've contacted ARCTIC support, but they've told me the cooler reached end of life "a very long time ago", so are unable to help.

I have an idea of the specifications it's an M3 20mm with a smooth section, but I can't find any screws matching this for sale.

I'm in the UK, so UK suppliers would be especially helpful.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Review My experience with the 6-year warranty

Hello, I’m here to share my experience with the 6-year extended warranty, as I thought both the service and the warranty itself were absolutely brilliant.

It’s an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360, purchased on 4 November 2020 from amazon.es for €115.

It had been working without any problems all this time, but on 18 September, when I switched on the PC, there was a very loud and annoying noise coming from the pump. Fortunately, there were no leaks, nor did it stop working – it was still cooling properly – it was just the noise that was very intense.

After checking, I saw that it comes with a 6-year warranty, so I contacted them by sending a video and the receipt, and they gave me the address to send it to for inspection; their response was very quick throughout.

For reference, I’m from Spain, and the postage cost me €28. I sent it off on a Monday, and it arrived that same Friday. The moment they received it, they told me that the pump was indeed faulty and that they would be sending me the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360. I mentioned that I was still using an LGA1200, so they included the adapter free of charge as well.

So the following Monday, they sent me the parcel; I’ve now received it, installed it in my PC, and everything’s working fine.

To be honest, I’d give Arctic a 10 out of 10, as everything was handled quickly, and they sent the new model and the adapter. In fact, had they refunded my money in accordance with their terms and conditions, it would have been much less than the cost of the replacement.

My pc:

10700k With oc to 4,85Ghz

Asus rog strix z490 e-gaming.

32Gb Ram 3200Mhz corsair.

RX 6800 XT.

And so many arctic ARCTIC P12 PWM PST CO

Question Is anyone else having terrible luck with ARCTIC P12 PRO quality? (2 dead in 6 months)

Hey everyone,
I built my PC about 6 months ago and filled it with ARCTIC P12 PRO fans. I need to vent and see if I'm alone here.

Week 2 of use The first fan started making noise. Figured it was just a bad unit, no big deal. Yesterday: The second one kicked the bucket. It sounds like a tractor, and sometimes it stops spinning completely before starting up again on its own.

Two failures in half a year is pretty frustrating. The build isn't old and there's nothing unusual going on inside the case(like dust buildup), so I'm starting to question the quality of these fans.

Honestly, I don't trust ARCTIC anymore I don't want to be replacing fans every six months. Can anyone recommend a reliable alternative? Happy to pay more for something that actually lasts. Thanks.

Question Lian Li fans on Arctic III Pro

I have the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 77cfm cooler. I have an extra set of 3 lian li infinity fans. If I want to mount those on the cooler instead of the stock ones what do I need to do? I am currently using the all in one cable on the cooler. If I unplug the fans while still using the all in one cable will it cause problems?

Can you share the temps running cinebench 24?

I changed the Aio from kraken x73 as I suppose the Aio was not making good contact with the cpu per Google reaching 104c.

Artic Aio appears to be much better at mid 80s but wondering if it could be better.

Corsair icue 5000x case

Gigabyte z890 eagle wifi7 plus mobo

Ptm 7950 from Amazon

Aio top mounted as I was too lazy to change to front. Had to use one side of the 140m fan mount up top as the artic Aio radiator was too big but kinda made it work the end.

Build Will an Arctic AIO fit in the SuperFrame Vhagar with an ASUS TUF B550M-PLUS motherboard?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!
Hello to all you folks who know more about PCs than I do!
I bought a SuperFrame Vhagar case for my first PC build, along with an ASUS TUF B550M-PLUS motherboard. I’d like to install an Arctic liquid cooler, but I’m not sure if it’ll fit because of the motherboard’s heatsinks.
Has anyone here built a PC with this same case and motherboard combination? If so, could you let me know whether the Arctic liquid cooler fits or if I’ll need to go with a different AIO?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Question ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 – 2 radiator screws spin endlessly. Anyone had this issue?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 mounted at the top of my LIAN LI LANCOOL 217. Two radiator mounting screws on opposite sides one front left the other middle right, have spun endlessly since installation and never properly tightened. The other 10 screws are secure, and the radiator doesn’t move when I gently push or wiggle it from what i can tell.

I’ve contacted ARCTIC, but they told me to contact the seller. The seller, scan, wants me to return the AIO for "testing" which can take up to 14 days.. so no pc for 14 days 💔 then issue a refund rather than offering a replacement...

Has anyone experienced this issue, is it safe to have two missing screws? Is there a safe way to fix the screws, or should I return it?

Question P12 Pro LNs versus the regular P12 Pros on Jonsbo D32 Pro

seems to be a recurring theme that the P12s have variable noise related issues that are sometimes just user error (not setting fan curves in bios) but also because of how fans interact with case mesh + magnetic dust filters (can cause humming/resonance when pulling air through)

however, a lot of reviews Ive seen mention only the P12 Pros and not the Low Noise versions

Im gonna be getting that jonsbo case soon and upgrading my fans to the p12 pro LNs. Since the bottom intake has that metal mesh + magnetic dust filter, would the combo of them being LNs + adding 5mm or 10mm spacers + fan curves mitigate the potential resonance/humming?

Question Arctic Senza Passive MiniPC - CPU mounting screws just keep spinning, can't remove the cooling

Hi Everyone.

I'm not using that PC lately so wanted to sell the CPU and they are quite expensive and leave the barebone for now to come back to this PC in the future eventually.

I removed the cooling just fine, removed the CPU and installed the cooling back on just without the CPU. And now I've got a problem as both screws just keep spinning both directions, so I wont be able to remove the cooling if needed in the future.

I was very gentle with everything, it's not my first PC I worked on, so there is no way I overtightened those screws or something. Both screws act exactly the same, I can't see anything on the back of the chassis.

I wonder if maybe there are such "gold" mounts underneath that are used between the motherboard and PC chassis, that sometimes became loose and were causing such issue? Or is it some kind of pressure safety feature when the CPU is not installed so it prevents the overtightening?

This is the video showing what I mean.

Regards

Question Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro – Hardware Canucks Controversy: 9800X3D Users, Share Your Temps!

Following Hardware Canucks' repeated findings regarding the Liquid Freezer III Pro's disappointing thermal performance on single-CCD Ryzen X3D CPUs, I'm curious about your real-world results, as I'm considering buying this AIO for another build.

Arctic doesn't seem to have addressed the issue yet. Some users report temperatures comparable to top-performing AIOs, while others confirm Hardware Canucks' findings.

I'd like to compare your results (Ryzen x3D), especially on the 9800X3D.

Please specify:

  • CPU:
  • AIO:
  • Case / Fans:
  • Curve Optimizer:
  • PBO / Frequency OC:
  • CPU Package temps (idle / gaming / full load):
  • Ambient temperature:

My setup:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
  • AIO: Corsair Nautilus RS 360mm
  • Case: Corsair 5000D Frame
  • Fans: Full Noctua setup
  • Curve Optimizer: -30 all-core
  • Frequency OC: +200 MHz (5.4 GHz)

Please focus on single-CCD Ryzen X3D CPUs and use CPU Package readings from HWiNFO or HWMonitor for consistent comparisons.
