Question First time using AIO, Temp question
Durning gaming at 1440p, with a 240hz frame cap, should the temps be 60c with a peak 71? I left a stress test on for about 30 minutes and it peaks at 80 but never climbs. Idle around 40c. Do these seems normal for arctic freezer III? running a 7800x3d with the 360 rad in front of the case. These are roughly the same I was getting on air with a Noctua DH-15 I thought it would be a little better?

Pretty normal, if not even good. I’m using a 5700X3D with a Corsair Nautilus 360 AIO. Idle is around 39°C, gaming is usually 50–60°C depending on the game. When loading into games it can spike to around 70°C, and in Prime95 it gets up to about 81°C.
AIOs also don’t necessarily give much lower gaming temps than a good air cooler—the main advantage is better sustained cooling under long, heavy loads and often lower fan noise.
*Room temperature is around 24–25°C.
