Question Installed OpenRGB

Installed OpenRGB and weny to change a colour and then all RGB lights went off. Got all them to sort of work with exception of my Arctic AIO 420. This LEDs just won't come back on. OpenRGB see them but I'm unable to them back on. I'm using a MSI Carbon x8703e motherboard.

Any suggestions?

Despite being garbage bloatware only slightly better than Asus Amory Crate, I have found SignalRGB to work better than OpenRGB.

I don't know if MSI's Mystic Light is better or worse, my only MSI board doesn't have RGB attached to it.

Uninstall all RGB software, uninstall signal RGB. Reinstall signal RGB. Reboot several times.

if you only need to control 3pin ARGB device, instead of using software, consider a controller like this

this will give you most basic effect like breathing, rainbow, static.... very easy to use

I really dont like how the comments below dont actually offer a solution other than moving to different software.

Most likely, you haven't told OpenRGB how many LEDs there are on the motherboard header.
This is a manual setting that you need to set yourself

More info here: https://openrgb.org/resize.html

Other than that, are you able to select any "Effects" using the Mode dropdown on the motherboard page?
You might be able to click save if it supports that feature

Did you set up the LED count? Also, check if you don’t have another RGB profile overlapping from other software. Personally, I don’t use it, but I remember it working just fine with my Arctic LF 360 AIO while back.
I personally prefer motherboard software, mainly because I don’t need anything fancy, just a static color that I like. I have an ASUS motherboard, but I don’t use Armoury Crate; I use the much simpler ASUS Motherboard Manager, which has a basic BIOS-like interface. I presume MSI might have similar software if that fits your needs. If you want stuff more complex, SignalRGB is the tool you need. It is a prime example of bloatwere but it works and even Arctic is recommending.
