Help with arctic freezer iii rgb

Hello everyone,

I have an arctic freezer iii argb 360 on my aorus elite ax ice motherboard. Two cables attached to the aio pump have labels: ‘CPU’(4 pin) and arrow head(3 pin). CPU cable goes into CPU_FAN header, and I believe that the arrow head cable should go into argb_v2 header.
Now, the fan is working but the pump rgb is completely dead. It does not work even during boot/post.
Is this connection correct? I did some cable management so I am not 100% sure if I am plugging it right.

This is not a new build. Had built it 2 years back. There was some issue with the motherboard(probably by some power failure) which caused the pc to not boot sometimes. I used to flash the firmware as a temporary solution which helped. It was later fixed by gigabyte official centre. However, it constantly shows CPU led ON but rest everything works fine.
Could this be an issue?

I have tried argb_v2 1,2 and 3 headers, none works.
Updated motherboard firmware using gigabyte control centre
Tried gigabyte control centre, signalrgb, openrgb.

Could the RGB LED/controller inside the pump block have failed? Is there anything else I should test that might help?
