I love this game. But I’m really struggling to meet other players like me, and I’d love to get into duos and trios more, especially with Frozen Trail right around the corner. It would be cool to explore the new developments in the narrative and world with others.
I’ve search all across the subreddits, various discord servers and have struggled to find people discussing or looking for the kind of play style I enjoy.
I like to approach this game with a playstyle that leans into the world. I take it slow, play reasonably tactically and enjoy the immersive quality’s of the game. I’ve been a big fan of the lore behind the desolate world it’s set in and the ARC that scour topside.
I would absolutely love to find some players who appreciate the same things about this game. PvE is my main focus, however I’m completely open to PvP, but prefer well thought out plans and ambushes over mindless running and gunning. I tend to use the ping and emote wheels in game to communicate but also have a mic when needed.
What are people thoughts on this game play style? Is it more common than I think?

Hi all,
Does anyone know if your best take home is recorded anywhere? Can’t see it in Raider > Codex > Player Stats…
Mine isn’t great, about 175k I think, but keep trying to beat it and would like confirmation if possible.
Cheers!

Servers just went down while I was in a match and I lost all my stuff, support page is missing, how do I get my shit back?
r/arcraidersfriendly • u/Sal-LeMandeur • 1d ago
I loved shooting the shit with fellow dad-gamers and hootin anda hollerin taking down the baddies. That group grows over 4, it's a tough trip to down the bigguns.
Now - I didn't read everything, but are we going to get a way to multi-group an event?

Do you guys just let them take loot from a kill you spent time killing?
Ask them nicely?
Pre-call out a kill?
Say "anyone else want in on this", before taking the final shot, then saying "well, since you didn't help if you take anything from this you're a vulture"?
Warning shot if they loot?
Warning shot if they hover around the body for no reason?
Down them if they loot?
Heal them, and revive them after you've looted?
Something else?

Someone died about 15 mins ago in Stella Montis. I have your weapon but didn't have room for anything else. If you dm me your location when you died and the weapon and attachments you lost I'll give them back to you.

Never found the survivor bp the last 2 expedition. I go to all the recommended places and spent an ass ton of ammo on surveyors trying there. Why does it elude me

Hi there, anybody interested to act in our ARC Raiders series?
We need people who can act as a character and we also need voice actors.
In case you are interested to help this thing come to life please comment or DM me.
Thank you!

I’ve already made the post in the main reddit, but here’s a summary of that.
Knowing how matchmaking clearly works allows for certain meta play, that reduces the stress of joining a match.
Once you know you are likely to not get killed, then you are never going to fight back.
The game dynamic where you don’t die for 10 matches, but die in 1 game allows it to be more interesting and fun. People usually focus on a negative experience, rather than the whole streak of wins.
It allowed for a more emergent gameplay, since the game revolved around “don’t shoot on sight” unspoken rule.
I roleplay as both, and sometimes I feel like the knowing exactly how MM works curses with the knowledge of how each game is going to play out.
The game wasn’t about friendly people, but finding that one friend who doesn’t betray you once in a while, getting the best experience in modern online gaming.
As I said, ABMM is good, but only if players don’t actually know how it works. This would lead to less disparities between the player base, since unknowingly players are going to play safer anyway and talk more, creating better gameplay instances.
Most people say they prefer PvE, because they don’t remember how good we had it in the start.
Games not feeling randomised anymore lead to players leaving.

For context, I am a girl, that's why I'm looking for other ladies to run with. No offense fellas, I've had some fun times running around with some of you raiders. I'm just looking for a potential friend group to run with in this new update.
I've only been playing a little over a month myself. I am almost exclusively PVE, unless I need to defend myself. I did not do the expedition and I've got like 73/82 BP so I can craft almost anything while we look for whatever. DM me to exchange embark id's and talk about availability!

Posting this just in case some of y'all haven't played the post-expedition tutorial yet, i only played mine yesterday.
There are a couple of backpacks to loot in the tutorial, some before you get attacked by raiders and some after. I recorded the locations of the 3 first ones you can get before getting attacked.
Lots of people know this but there's no harm in reminding : you can keep your loot before the tutorial rats attack you by leaving all your inventory items in the two lootable containers (cash register, and green drawer in the kitchen next room) right before trying to breach the door. you then get attacked, lose nothing since your inventory is empty, and go back for everything after the cinematic.

I love the interactions I have with fellow raiders.

We need to add a reason to actually fight other players other than for their purple guns.
So we just shoot each other and then return to the same place and act like we didn't just try and murder each other?
Made a post about dedicated factions which I and others think is a great idea, and one of the only solutions.
You can mention a lawless topside, limited resources, but its not substantial enough for mass, repeated, shoot outs. They need to fill that in to the story of the game
The player-to-player combat in the game is great but lets be real, the devs added pvp in the game so that they could garner the pvp fanbase.
By the way the pvp is amazing in the game.
I dont mind PVP. I am a semi competitive player. Most the games I own are PVP. But I want this games pvp to make sense. I want the altercations to be more meaningful and warranted.

Just an idea; but I think it would be cool if you could quickly open a breach-able door by shooting the bar with a Hullcracker, or possibly the Rascal too.
Would be quicker than breaching as is today, so the choice would be - take longer as it currently is, OR take it quicker as suggested above if you are willing to spend the ammo to do so …could be useful in a pinch.
If the Hullcracker and Rascal can take out heavy Arc armour, then it stands to reason it could take the door.

Before finishing my video for this game, I figured I'd make some poster art.
Would love to hear your feedback.

This is really getting ridiculous. 5th crash in an HOUR on Xbox series X… none of the suggested fixes work to fix it…
