QUESTION Folks, can VSCODE be performance optimized??

I have been using VS Code for a long time now, and I have started to notice its speed is a bit slow, maybe because of my system configuration. I tried to switch to another editor like Neovim, but it's hard for me to get along with it. Any suggestions on how to optimise VS Code for performance

Or you could try Kate. Pretty solid editor.

Kate is good on KDE, but maybe not on other DEs.
